Worst Possible Reward for today's quest thought on how to fix Bronze

What's the worst possible reward in Bronze?

Nope: Not a potion. Those are worth about 5 cents.

Nope: Not 1 DEC. That's worth at least a penny or more.

Nope: Not another Venari Heatsmith. That's worth 16 cents.

The answer Credit. Not Credits plural but one single credit with fixed value of 1/10th of a cent!

After such a terrible reward I got to thinking about how to fix the system in Bronze. The problem is that new players get very little reward for their Spellbook. A single credit? Certainly not worth the time and effort to get it.

However, can't just give out loads of great rewards in Bronze or the bots will take over and ruin the system for everyone. Including those in Bronze.

How to fix the system though?

My thought: What if you gave better rewards that could be only spent in Guild? What if there was a bound DEC coin which could only be spent on guild upgrades? It wouldn't dilute the overall DEC market because it couldn't be used on transferrable items like cards. However, it would make new players much more valuable to a guild because they could work towards building the guild. Also higher level guild members could reward lower level members for their valuable contribution. Right now I have a senior guild member spending 1000s of DEC upgrading buildings. If she could give those DEC to junior members and those junior members could donate their bound DEC its a win-win for both sides.

How about bots though? Well, people could still run bots if they desired to upgrade their guild. However, guilds aren't something they could sell of transfer so there would be no financial incentive to run the bots.

How about new members who aren't in guilds? Honestly I think its way more fun to be part of a group. Bound DEC would just be an incentive to find a guild--or start one themselves and make some friends in the process.

I'm sure there is some reason why this is a terrible reason but I know growing guilds is super expensive right now. I know that Bronze players are getting shafted right now. I just thought this would be an idea to kill two birds with one stone.

Side Note: Making potions a commodity that could be traded in the guild store is another idea I think would really be useful. Junior members opening no card packs could help senior members opening huge numbers of packs.

Just my thought for the day.

Happy Hunting!

I think this is a really great idea. Even though potions technically have value, to those that don't open packs they're effectively worth nothing. So even 1 credit in your example above is actually better to most bronze players than a potion technically worth 5 cents, since they may never actually use that potion. But your idea might make that potion useful at least.
