Unique Tactic Arachne Weaver Brought to the Battles
Hello splinterlands warriors, how are you today? This is a newest splinterlands social media challenge where I will be sharing my idea on Arachne Weaver. The first time I saw Arachne Weaver In battles, I felt like getting the monster in the market; fortunately after 2 days waiting to accumulate the amount of Dark Crystal Energy (DEC) needed for it, I got it while claiming my rewards. That was how I was happy about it.
What is Unique about Arachne Weaver?
The unique thing about Arachne Weaver is the corrupted healing, this healing is so unique that it can heal all damaged monsters in your lineup except herself, it is good to use in some battle rules such as Combination of Equal opportunity and noxious fume: I have used Arachne Weaver in different battles- used it in equal opportunity, noxious fume, scattershoot, and many more. One of the best battles that she stood out was the combination of Equal opportunity and noxious fumes. Arachne Weaver I have used Arachne Weaver in this battle several times, and I have a 100% winning rate. When a player is using a specific strategy in a battle each time the rule shows-up; and such a player is always winning, the strategy is good for the player and he doesn't need to change it.
I have never been defeated whenever I used Arachne Weaver in the combination of equal opportunity and noxious fumes. Until I'm defeated, that is when I will change this strategy. Each time noxious fume damaged 2 unit in all monsters in the lineup, and opponent’s monsters damaged the health of my monsters, Arachne Weaver healed them. It healed all monsters in my lineup.
I used Arachne Weaver in Standard rule: I knew that using Arachne Weaver requires strategy, that was the reason I placed a taunt monster in this battle, and it worked out. Therefore, it is good to a combination to use Arachne Weaver and any monster with taunt ability. The purpose of a taunt ability monster was not to allow opportunity monsters to attack Arachne Weaver.
Fog of war: the best monsters to use when fog or war is given are magic and ranged monsters. Though I do use melee monster in first and second position at times; a melee monster with reach ability is sweetable in the second position. Therefore, since Arachne Weaver can restore 6 health, I preferred to use it than a tank heal monster.
Good to use in wand out rule: it t can be easily killed by a magic reflect monster. So, you have to be very clinical when using it in this kind of battle because some players like to use a magic reflect monster. Also, it is it not a good idea to use it in counterspell ruleset; it can be easy destroyed by counterspell.

Summoner
Astral Entity
Splinter: Dragon 🐉🐉🐉
Level: 3 ⭐⭐⭐
Ability: Dodge, Resurrection and -2 armor to all opponent’s units
The main reason I used Astral Entity was the dodge ability. The dodge ability was the reason Thanalorian Blade missed the attack when attacking Umbral Elemental in the 1st round. When Umbral Elemental was eliminated in the first round, it was resurrected back, 4 health was restored back by Arachne Weaver.
Monsters arrangement
Cursed Windeku
Splinter: Dragon 🐉🐉🐉
Level: 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Ability: Thorns and Heal
Speed: 3 🚤🚤🚤
Health: 10 ❤️❤️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Attack: Melee
Mana: 6
Three things that made me to place Cursed Windeku in the first position; Melee- there was no best position rather than first position for Cursed Windeku; only the first position it could attack in this battle. Thorns ability- I knew the thorns ability would be useful in first position: damaged the units of Pelacor Mercenary to the point of destruction. The thorns ability made it easy for my monsters to eliminate it in the 2nd round of the battle. Healing ability- The healing ability made it last longer in this battle. Even to the last level, Cursed Windeku was spectacular. Despite it was the monster in the frontline, it could not be eliminated in the battle.
Usut
Splinter: Dragon 🐉🐉🐉
Level: 1 ⭐
Ability: Flying and Bloodlust
Speed: 1 🚤
Health: 10 ❤️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Armor: 4 🪖🪖🪖🪖
Attack: Magic
Mana: 10
I brought Usut due to bloodlust ability; but the bloodlust ability was not reflected because Usut did not eliminate an opponent’s monster. It immersively contributed to the elimination of the opponent's monsters. Usut was eliminated in the last round of the battle by Night Reaper due to Wingbreak ability. Though, Night Reaper had been attacking Usut from the beginning of the battle.
Umbral Elemental
Splinter: Dragon 🐉🐉🐉
Level: 1 ⭐
Ability: Taunt
Speed: 2 🚤🚤
Health: 7 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️♥️♥️
Armor: 4 🪖🪖🪖🪖
Attack: Magic
Mana: 9
This was the reason I said, one should be able to use a taunt monster; if not Umbral Elemental, Arachne Weaver would have been eliminated in this battle. Umbral Elemental was the most attacking monster in my lineup: got eliminated in the 1st round, resurrected, and finally eliminated in the second round. The purpose of bringing Umbral Elemental in this battle was to delay the opponent's monsters in this battle.
Arachne Weaver
Splinter: Dragon 🐉🐉🐉
Level: 2 ⭐⭐
Ability: Corrupted Healing
Speed: 2 🚤🚤
Health: 3 ❤️♥️♥️
Attack: Magic
Mana: 5
This monster is incredible in this battle: if not Arachne Weaver, no monster would have survived in my lineup. Usut would have eliminated in the second round of this battle by Night Reaper; Riftwing would have been eliminated in the third round. It was Arachne Weaver that was restoring the health of all attacked monsters; and that was the reason it wasn't easy for the opponent's monsters to eliminate all my monsters. It is difficult for level 3 summoner to fight against level 8, my opponent was very smart and good. I was just a little more strategic than him, and that was the reason I won the battle.
Skok Duskblight
Splinter: Dragon 🐉🐉🐉
Level: 2 ⭐⭐
Abilities: Weapon Training and Fury
Speed: 2 🚤🚤
Health: 7 ❤️❤️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Attack: Magic
Mana: 8
It was very important to use Skok Duskblight in this battle; without Skok Duskblight’s weapon training, Riftwing would not have had magic ability.
And I believed the combination of flying and dodge abilities would make it difficult for melee monsters to target Riftwing. This was because I knew that my opponent would use a melee monster with sneak ability. Fortunately, he used 2 melee monsters with sneak and double strike. The Scavenger and flying ability made it difficult for both monsters to eliminate Riftwing.
Riftwing
Splinter: Dragon 🐉🐉🐉
Level: 4 ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Abilities: Flying and Scavenger
Speed 4 🚤🚤🚤🚤
Health: 7 ❤️❤️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Attack: None
Mana: 4
Riftwing was the last monster in my lineup; I intentionally placed it there in case of a sneaky monster.
