Mastering the Strategy to Fight Little League

Good day to everyone, how are you doing today? In this week's Splinterlands community engagement challenge, I'm going to talk about little league which is one of the rule given. There are so many rulesets that were posted by the splinterlands team, a participant can choose anyone of those rules. After a series of battles today I decided to choose a little league. We all know the little league rule- only monsters with less than 4 units can be used in this battle.

Why do I like little league? It makes one understand how to use monsters with less than 4 mana in battles: with little league I understand how to use monsters with lesser mana in battles. It makes me understand the abilities of some monsters with lesser mana. There was a time I didn't like to use Earth Elemental because; when I didn't have a choice than to use it, I understood more about the monster. I started to use Earth Elemental noxious fume ruleset.

Little League is one of the interesting rule to play in battle; you just have to master the strategy of the rule. Sometimes, the combination of other rules can make it complex to select the best monsters. I lost more than 3 battles before I understood the best strategy for little league and supersneak. This was because those my opponents were very smart; it was like I didn't know how to arrange.

Rulesets

Tis but Scratches: All units have cripples (-1 to target's max health after each successful attack; does not affect units with immunity. There was a time I used Djinn Oshannus to play this rule, despite the void ability, a melee monster with successful attack damaged 1- unit from Djinn Oshannus. It is understandable that 1 magic damage power cannot damage a monster with void attack when it attacks. Despite it was only magic monsters were allowed in that battle, and I used and i used a monster with silence ability to remove -1 magic from opponent's monsters, I was defeated as a result of the rule. Tis but Scratches does not affect units with immunity ability, that was the major training used Drybone Hobgoblin in the second position in case Halfling Alchemist is eliminated.

Little League: you can only summon units and archons that cost 4 or less mana Little League is the type of rule that allows only monsters with less than 4 mana cap, that is the reason you cannot see monsters with 5 mana and above.

Summoner

Fithe Bladestone

Splinter: Fire🔥🔥🔥🔥
Level: 2
Ability: Bloodline Dominion, and All friendly units have +2 armor
The only option available when I wanted to pick summoner was the fire and death. This is one thing about winning in splinterlands, a player that want to win must choose the most powerful summoner available for the battle. It is not possible for me to pick the weak summoner when I have summoners that are very strong, and can accommodate monsters with higher levels. It was Fithe Bladestone that stood out as the best summoner to use due to its abilities and level.

Halfling Refugee

Splinter: Neutral
Level: 1 ⭐
Ability: Weary
Speed: 3 🚤🚤🚤
Health: 6 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Armor: 2 🪖🪖
Attack: Melee
Mana: 1 Looking at this battle very well, I was given 23 mana to fight this battle; in order to use it judiciously, it was very important to use Halfling Alchemist. If I made a mistake to pick any other monster, I might not get 6 monsters in this battle; I got 6 monsters because of the 1 mana of Halfling Alchemist. And again, it was a good opportunity for me to use a monster with 6 health. It really see in splinterlands to see a monster with 1 mana, and amazing stats like Halfling Alchemist That was the major reason I selected it, because I needed a monster with high health in the first position. If it was Wild Format I'm playing, I would have used Cerberus as the first monster because of the health and healing ability. The better position for ”Halfling Alchemist* is the first position; that was the only position it could attack in this battle.

Drybone Hobgoblin

Splinter: Fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Level: 3 ⭐⭐⭐
Ability: Reach and Immunity
Speed: 3 🚤🚤🚤🚤
Health: 4 ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Armor: 2 🪖🪖
Attack: Melee
Mana: 4
We all know Tis but Scratches does not affect immunity monsters; it was a good strategy to bring Drybone Hobgoblin so that I could last longer. You could see that Halfling Refugee did not last in this battle due to Tis and Scratches ruleset. Just like then way I planned it Halfling Refugee was eliminated in the first round of the battle and Drybone Hobgoblin took charge of the battle for sometime. It was also eliminated in the second round of the battle.

Krash Wonderford

Splinter: Fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Level: 3 ⭐⭐⭐
Ability: Swiftness and Bloodlust
Speed: 7 🚤🚤🚤🚤🚤🚤🚤
Health: 7 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Armor: 2 🪖🪖
Attack: Magic
Mana: 5
Krash Wonderford is a non-attacking monster; I knew this monster would be useful with weapon training monster. If you check it very well, it was the monster with a highest health. I knew it would be useful because it every monsters that would possesses void ability; and I knew with his health it would be useful in this battle. Krash Wonderford was the only monster that was left in the battle- it was the monster that led the battle to victory. At round 20, it was able to withstand fatigue and won the battle.

Moxian Rebel

Splinter: Neutral
Level: 1 ⭐
Ability: Weapon Training
Speed: 1 🚤
Health: 1 ❤️
Armor: 3 🪖🪖🪖
Attack: Magic
Mana:4

Moxian Rebel was the second monster that was eliminated in this battle. It was destroyed by Ashen Cindergrim; Ashen Cindergrim is a magic monster with opportunity ability. Since Moxian Rebel was the monster with lowest health, it was attacked and destroyed. Hence, Moxian Rebel Didi not have a chance to attack. The major reason I brought this monster into this battle was to trained Krash Wonderford, i.e to give Krash Wonderford magic attack which it does.

Ferrous Brewer

Splinter: Neutral

Level: 1 ⭐
Speed: 1 🚤
Health: 4 ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Armor: 3 🪖🪖🪖
Attack: Melee
Mana: 4
Since this monster can attack anywhere, it was my plan to placed it in the sixth position. I also used it to protect Moxian Rebel from being eliminated by burning. It was eliminated by burning on the 3rd round of the battle. As you can see, it was attacking at every round of the battle; it contributed immersively in the battle.

Kha'zi Conjurer

Splinter: Fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Level: 2 ⭐⭐
Ability: Incendiary
Speed 3🚤🚤🚤
Health: 5 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Armor: 2 🪖🪖
Attack: Ranged
Mana: 2
2 mana monster with 4 ranges attacks! This was the reason I picked it. More also, I placed it in the last position because of burning ability. I felt saved in the sixth position and that is the position I often used Kha'zi Conjurer because of the burning ability. The first time I used it, I was eliminated because of the burning ability; and that was the reason o use it as a last monster in case if my opponent use a sneak monster, it will attack it. It is better for me to eliminate Kha'zi Conjurer than any monster in this lineup.
