I Just Entered My First Splinterlands Tournament...
Yup, it was an impulsive decision, but I just entered my first Splinterlands tournament, the WOO Saturday Slam!

Just 1 DEC To Enter!
One reason why I hopped on board this particular tournament is that the entry fee is just 1 DEC.
I also like that you can play your games anytime during the 24 hour duration of the tournament. I live in Japan, so the time difference can make joining live tournaments a bit of a challenge.
Plus, I am a Silver player, so this tournament is probably about the right level for me.
What Is WOO?
One other reason why I joined this particular tournament is because I learnt about WOO from my buddy @threesteps just a few days ago.
WOO = Wrestling Organization Online. It's a Hive-based play-to-earn wrestling game which you can check out at: https://play.wrestlingorganizationonline.com/
I don't have any plans to get involved with WOO itself, but you never know, if I win one of the prizes in their Splinterlands tournament, the $WOO tokens might just draw me in...
Saturday Evening Sorted!
Anyway, my plan is to spend my Saturday evening chilling out over a few cold beers while playing live blitz chess on Gameknot, and doing my best in the Splinterlands WOO Saturday Slam. I'll record the whole extravaganza for my YouTube channel and Hive blog update...

Thanks Barb! I've lived in Japan for a long time now. Actually, I used to teach English as a foreign language at a college in the UK, but that was way back towards the end of the 20th century!
