Opening 42 Major Chests in Splinterlands

A new season has started in Splinterlands and to start it off well I'm going to open some Loot Chests to gain extra energy and be able to battle more often.

In the previous season I was inactive in Splinterlands because the price of SPS dropped a lot so I was developing a new strategy in which I could make a profit during the season and I'm going to try to put it into practice this season.

One of my main goals for the season is to earn at least 400,000 Glint during this season, so I'll be able to open 300 Minor Chests, 150 Major Chests, 30 Ultimate Chests and some Rarity Draws. My goal in doing this is to get a large number of cards to evolve my collection of reward cards and also to get a lot of extra energy so I can battle more often and increase my SPS and Glint earnings during the season.

To start, I'm going to open 42 Major Chests. In my opinion, this is the best option for Loot Chests to gain energy. With my current amount of Glint, this is the amount of Major Chests I can currently open.

Each Major Chest costs 1,000 Glint and has the following drop rates:

• Reward Card - 33%.
• Potions - 30.99%.
• Merits - 26%.
• Energy - 10%.
• Jackpot - 0.01%.

In my opinion, the Major Chest is also the best option for getting Jackpots. It has fewer drop rates than the Ultimate Chest, but I can open a much larger number.

Now, let's see how my luck is with Loot Chests today. Maybe I'll finally get my first jackpot in Splinterlands.

My luck with jackpots continues to be as bad as ever and this time I managed to get 12 energy by opening the 42 Major Chests. Honestly, I expected more for this amount, but considering that I've already opened more than that and not gotten any energy, I can consider myself lucky.

One of the strategies I always use is to use Alchemy potions on all the Loot Chests I open, so I have a better chance of getting Gold Foils cards and I burn them to get some extra Glint during the season, so I can open more Loot Chests even if I have to pay +50% Glint after the first Batch or I can use the Glint to open more Rarity Draws.
