image.png

Hello Splinterlands Community, the recent update on the game was big as there is now a way to use Gladius Cards in ranked battles, which is never happened before as that set is exclusively available for Brawls only which is part of the guild system. For this reason I will start sharing some of my opinions and thoughts on the cards that belongs to the Gladius Set, I already started sharing some of my thoughts on some Gladius Card in the game. This time I will talk about Quora Towershead which is a very powerful earth magic unit in the Gladius Set which can bring total chaos in the battlefield.

About Quora Towershead

Quora Towershead is an epic earth unit that deals both melee and magic damage to opponents at the same time and also belongs to the Gladius Set. This card is not obtainable and rentable on the marketplace. The only way to be able to use this card in brawls and ranked battles is by acquiring it through opening Gladius Case which can be bought on the in-game store under Guild tab for 2000 Merits. The merits can be obtained by participating actively on guild brawls as well as from the rewards chest in the game.

The figure below shows the complete statistics of Quora Towershead from Level 1 up to its maximum level of 6. It requires 46 cards in order to upgrade this card to its maximum level though it is a difficult task as this card is only obtainable through Gladius Case which can be bought on the in-game store. Based on the figure above, I can say that upgrading this card to at least Level 3 would be good enough to increase the health of this unit. It also unlocks it's third ability which is Immunity that makes this unit immune to any negative status effect that is present in the match. That ability is useful for Quora Towershead most especially if the battle has the Noxious Fumes ruleset where all monsters in the battlefield are poisoned at the start of the match at the same time its Heal ability is massive which makes this monster a great frontline unit for the team.

Rulesets

Quora Towershead is a powerful earth unit that deals both melee and magic damage to opponents and that damage can be utilized very well if the certain rulesets are present in the match where those ruleset benefits this unit. Since this card requires to be placed in the first position in order to deal melee damage besides the magic damage it can deal in a single strike, it would rely on the certain rulesets in the game wherein it could enhances the durability of this unit as well as making this unit available to deal double damage even if it is not placed in the first position. This unit has a great amount of health and good sustainability with its Heal ability, which is why there are a couple of rulesets in the game which I will share that should make Quora Towershead worth to use not only in brawls but also on ranked battles as well.

Wands Out

image.png

This ruleset suits very well with Quora Towershead. The Wands Out ruleset only allows magic monsters to be used in the battlefield. The ruleset allows Quora Towershead to be used in the battle as the unit deals magic damage but it also capable of dealing melee damage in a single turn which gives this unit a huge advantage in this type of match.

Equal Opportunity

image.png

This ruleset is great for Quora Towershead. The Equal Opportunity ruleset gives every monster in the battlefield the opportunity ability at the beginning of the match, this makes them target the monster of the opposing team which has the lowest amount of health. This allows Quora Towershead to target the most vulnerable unit on the enemy team and with its magic and melee damage combo it would certainly take down the target unit and triggers the Bloodlust ability that makes this unit more powerful.

Keep your Distance

image.png

This ruleset favors well with Quora Towershead. The ruleset only allows melee and ranged monsters as well non-damage monsters to be able to used in this type of battle. It makes Quora Towershead available in this match as the unit deals magic damage which satisfies the condition of the ruleset, at the same time it deals melee damage which gives this unit an edge against the enemy team.

Armored Up

image.png

This ruleset is also good for Quora Towershead. The Armored Up ruleset gives 2 armor to every monster in the battlefield at the start of the match. The armor buff from this ruleset enhances the durability of all the monsters in the battle which includes Quora Towershead. Since that monster is a frontline unit on the team, the armor buff makes the unit more durable against melee and ranged enemy monsters, it also compliments with the Heal ability that restores health to the unit every round.

Summoners

Choosing the summoner that will be used in the match requires careful planning and full understanding on the rulesets present in the match as well as the mana available in order to utilized Quora Towershead. Since Quora Towershead is a earth gladius unit, it can be played using earth and dragon summoners in Brawls as well as earth and dragon element summoners in ranked battles wherein the summoner has the ability to use one gladius card in the match in addition to that the earth element is available in the battle if your are planning to use dragon element summoner. I mostly use Chaos Legion Cards, Gladius Cards, Reward Cards and some starter cards that are currently playable on my battles and brawls, which is why I am going to share my choices on the summoners that belongs in those said sets where I am very familiar with, and already have experienced playing it on ranked battles and brawls for a long time that I think should be a good choice whenever you're planning to use Quora Towershead in ranked battles and brawls.

Lobb Lowland

image.png

This summoner is the best choice whenever you want to use Quora Towershead in ranked battles. It is a earth summoner that decreases the speed of all enemy monsters at the beginning of the match. It also one of the new reward summoners that allows you to use one Gladius Card in the battle which is very useful in the battle and this summoner are obtainable through chest rewards in the game. These Gladius Cards all have the Bloodlust ability which makes the card more powerful as it takes down enemy units and using those cards in the ranked battle would make your climb on the league more smoothly.

Helios Matriarch

image.png

This summoner is also a good alternative choice if you're planning to use Quora Towershead in ranked battles. It is a dragon summoner that grants bonus speed to all your units at the beginning of the match. It gives Quora Towershead the opportunity to strike first each round which allows that unit to take down an enemy monster and triggers the Bloodlust ability. It also allows you to use one Gladius Card in the battle just like Lobb Lowland, the only difference is that this summoner can be usable for Quora Towershead if the earth element is available on the match and choosing this summoner allows the dragon element monsters to be deployed in the battlefield.

Obsidian

image.png

This summoner is a good choice if you're planning to use Quora Towershead on Brawls. It is a earth summoner that increases the magic damage of all your units at the beginning of the match. Quora Towershead would not be available to use with this summoner in ranked battles but it would be usable if this summoner is used in Brawls. Quora Towershead benefits very well with the magic damage buff from the summoner since it compliments well with its magic and melee damage strike each round. This summoner also boosts as well other earth monsters that works very well with Quora Towershead such as Goblin Psychic and Mycelic Slipspawn.
