The Lodhran junction (pakistan).
The lodhran city was first developed by English rulers in the 18-century in the north side of the sutlaj River.
The foundation of the this city was laid in the 1830, then in the 1849 the British rule extended to the punjab, then the district multan and the lodhran city also
Came under the British rule.
It is the very famous railway junction, and situated on the main route in the southern punjab.
The tehsil lodhran included following villages, (riddan wala, mari bhago khan, omer pur, mochi mohana, beli, lahori, fateh pur, khan pur, gogran, motha, kot lal shah, karam ali wala, lutaf pur).
In 1881 a series of changes were made with the objective of enlarging the shujabad and decreasing the mailsi charge.
Under these arrangements 60 villages of the mailsi were transferred to the lodhran tehsil.
In 1962 the railway station was build in the lodhran city.
