Fanart | Fire Beetle
Today after a long time i have decided to do hand embroidery for making my today's fanart.
It's kind of something that i avoids doing just because i think my hand embroideries are not so neat and perfect like others who shows their talents. I'm just a beginner and needs some practice for achieving perfection in my work.
But am i trying? The simple answer is no... Due to my busy schedule and a huge To-do list i always forgot about practicing hand embroidery, but now i have my summer vacations and in this summer vacations i want to work on each skill of me where I'm lacking.
And I'm going to start from hand embroidery. I don't like to make flowers with hand embroidery that's why i create some lively items, i want to create emotions with needle and thread just like a painter creates with his paints and brushes. All i need is practice.
Practice makes a man perfect
So today I'm going to make splinterlands character (Fire Beetle). Let's start making it step by step...
Procedure
I have started making this embroidery by first making a rough sketch of character on fabric eith pencil.
Then i have started the embroidery and made my first stiches with skin colored thread.
After that i have made the embroidery in the face and front legs of the character.
Then i have continued the embroidery in the middle body of the Beetle,
And i have completed the character by making embroidery in the areas left in the character.
Lastly i have tried to make fire effect in the character as the original one have.
Here's the final results 👇
Here's the image of original character taken from Splinterland's website 👇
That's it for today will be back with another exciting idea soon bye bye 😁 👋
