MoonKart : Purchasing Accessories to Improve the Stats

I started my journey in MoonKart play2earn game a few week ago. If you do not know the MoonKart is a game which is a part of ArcadeColony project and other projects belongs to the project are Splinterlands, Stakehouse Den & Genesis League Goals. I started exploring the Stakehouse Den also and purchased a pack also. Will share my experience of Stakehouse Den in other blog. The official packs sale for MoonKart is already over so then option left is to purchase the packs form secondary market or the purchase individual cards form the market. To start the game play I purchased the two cards which is the necessity of the game i.e. Kart and a Driver. You need the Script token or the Credit to make the purchase so I converted some of the Hive into Script token. After the purchase I started playing the game and stared exploring the other options also. I am still exploring the game and finding new options and things about the game. The first finding was the Auto Vault and fuel generation which is a important part of the game and play a crucial role in game play. I staked my cards in the Auto Vault which generates the Fuel, which I used to participate in the race. Without fuel the race is not rewarding.

Purchasing the Accessories

I stared with the common cards to play the game so y first purchase was also two common cards. When I started playing the game, I realize that I am not fast enough to secure top place in the race. The handling was also not good and I found it difficult to handle at sharp turns. Yes I am new and some techniques also improved with the experience but still the stats of the cards we are using in the game play a important role. Lets have a look at the stats of the Kart and the Driver.

I am using the Astro Kart and its a common rarity cards and normal foil. I have not leveled up to its level 1 cards. To use it in the race it costs me 1 fuel also. If we look at the stats then it has speed of 112.5 points, handling is 43.5 points, Acceleration is 39 points and Health is 39 points.

Lat's have a look at the stats and characteristics of Driver.

I am using the Spark Driver and its a common rarity cards and normal foil. I have not leveled up to its level 1 cards. To use it in the race it costs me 0.9 fuel also. If we look at the stats then it add +5.3 points in speed , add 3+ points in handling, substract -5.6 points in Acceleration and add +6.4 points in Health. The use of Spark increasing the stats except the Acceleration. The Acceleration is greeting decreased if we use it.

When I used both the cards, on the left side of the screen you can see the final stats effective for the game play with the combination of cards used. The speed of 118 points, handling is 48 points, Acceleration is 38 points and Health is 45 points. The over all stats are increased except the Acceleration and you know the reason for it, right?

If we want to increase the stats then we need better cards or the other work around is use of accessories. The three accessories available are Antenna, Exhaust and Rim. To test them I purchased two of them - Curve Glide Antenna and Sure Turn Rim.

At level 1 the effect is very small but when the card level are increasing the effect of adding those accessories also increases.

I am planning to purchase higher rarity cards to improve the overall stats an also playing participating in race everyday o improve my skills and it will also make me eligible for the season end rewards.
