Hey All,

Did you guys notice this announcement on the launch of the website Ahonex.com. If not then I highly recommend reading this post - AHONEX.COM an auction house for Splinterlands assets. Yes we now have a place where we can auction the Splinterlands assets from cards, land, packs, totems, avatars, consumables and much more. Coming to the name of the website AHONEX then it's an acronym and it stands for Auction House Online Exchange - interesting isn't it? Until this website was launched there was no way where one could auction their in game assets. I know we have many web applications like peakmonster and others where we can rent/buy cards but cannot auction the assets.

Placed my FIRST Auction - "Crustacean King"...

The first step is pretty simple where you can login to Ahonex.com via the Keychain thats straight forwards. Once you can login there are self explanatory tabs like -
"Browse Auctions" - this will show you the items that are in auction. Leverage the search feature here to look for a specific auction of your interest may it be a card or any other assets that may interest you.

"List Items" self explanatory, once you click the tab you have the above screen load your in game NFT cards if you selected "Cards" and the screen will load assets accordingly to the items selected. Just as an example if you wan to list - "LAND" then you will need to select the item land which is coming under "Inventory Items" list. Hence select LAND item to listing/Auctioning your LAND NFT. Once this is selection process is done then comes the pricing part which is more important.

As from the above screen the Pricing has various fields which are::

• Starting Price [optional] If not set STARTS with ZERO. In this box set the price from where you want to start the bid. In my example I am listing the "Crustacean King" with 1000 DEC as a starting price.

• Reserve Price [Optional] again this field is optional and is tied to setting the minimum acceptable bid. Meaning if the highest bid is less than the reserved price when the auction ends then the item will be returned. My example has a reserved price of 1000 #DEC

• Buy Now Price [Optional] self explanatory again. This is the price you are willing to sell immediately. Meaning the auction is settled immediately if anyone pays this price. So for my auction if anyone pays 2000 #DEC then this great NFT "Crustacean King" having the healing ability will be theirs. Go guys grab this before someone else takes it.

What is this Boost Your Auction?

Yes, I am coming to it as well. But before I get there it is imperative that you look at the pricing details carefully which provides the Card details along with "Auction Details" prices set and the summary detailing the listing fees which is 250 #DEC along with the SALE fees which is 5% that is going to be deducted once the item being auctioned is sold.

As the name applies - "Boost Your Auction" it simply helps you in boosting your auction. What will happen here is that your auction will appear at the top of search results and on the homepage. Simple math here is the more you boost, the higher your auction will appear. There is a price to it starting from 100 to 10K #DEC. For now I am not planning to boost my auction. And finally before I end this post we have the last tab remaining which is...

"Ending Soon" click on that and you get to see the auctions which are about to end. Great feature I would say as people would like to see and maybe grab the last minute offer/auction if that is something they are willing to pay for. Currently we have one auction which is ending in about 30 minutes as I write this article. The card is GOLD FOIL - "Divine Healer" price set is 150K #DEC and the buy now price is 240K #DEC.. I am letting go for now maybe I will have a look at other cards.

Ok back to where we were with the auction. The final step is to create the auction and confirm the transaction on Keychain. The above screen pops when you confirm the transaction and once done you see your auction created successfully with notification indicating the same.

I guess my auction is the 17th one here on the Auction House Online Exchange application. Lets see if I get this SOLD out or not.
