Speed For The Win

My favorite Battle Of The Day today was a match that showcased one of the mostly overlooked strengths of Fire Splinter monsters. They are fast! Not all of them of course, but many of them are and if you get your buffs and debuffs all working in unison you can run circles around your opponent. Just add a sprinkle of power to the mix and the results can be magical! Like in this match.

At the start of the match, the opposing tank, Lord Arianthus, was a major roadblock to my success, so my Flame Imp, Exploding Dwarf and Serpentine Spy all set about removing him. Meanwhile my opponents team made an attempt to do the same to my Exploding Dwarf. But the Rulesets had given my Dwarf lots of health and reduced opponents to face.

In Round 2, Flame Imp removed Arianthus and Exploding Dwarf dropped the Kobold Miner. Then before it could attack my dwarf, my Serpentine Spy killed the enemy Serpentine Spy. A retaliate attack by my Exploding Dwarf removed the opponents Battering Ram to close the round.

Round 3 was over quickly as my team took turns destroying the remaining two opponents before they could even attack.

Victory was mine!
