Good Day Splinterfam. Please welcome my entry for this week's Battle Mage Secrets Challenge: Little League

This rule will usually test the player's ability to utilize cards with very low mana to their full potential. I am happy that this rule came out before my Energy Capture Rate has ran out.

This is the actual ruleset and mana cost during the match and honestly I find some ruleset and mana combination to be quite odd since the other rule sometimes cotradict or rendered the other useless. But let's get on with the analysis.

The rules are no magic allowed; up to 4 mana per card; ranged cards can hit from the first position; and the active splinters are fire, water, earth and death.

I observed that in the little league rule, one of the best splinter to use is water with Kelya as the summoner since the additional speed provides a better chance to attact first and the extra armor can help absorb one physical attack.

I usually need to be wary of magic attackers because they can go through armor but thanks to the "lost magic" rule, we can just dismiss it.

Turns out the opponent chose to use brute force to take me out easily with a sturdy front liner. Good thing we have extra armor from Kelya!

I intentionally place Kulu Swimhunter on the rear for extra speed and evasion and to enable Merdhampir to accumulate extra HP for added longitivity of my team.

By around the 3rd round, the opponent is already down to 3 members while I still have because his damage was scattere while mine is focused on the front and rear only.

My key strategy revolves around the massive armor of Cruel Sethropod as frontliner, the demolishing rear damage of Pelacor Bandit and Uraeus with extra poison chance to slowly destroy the enemy backlines, and the HP boost of Merdhampir's life leech and Angelic Mandarin's triage which proved very difficult to penetrate.

In the end, I was victorious in the battle of attrition despite the increased melee damage and added HP from enemy Tarsa.

Lesson learned is that speed and protection is very vital in low mana cap rules because heavy damage is nothing if it is blocked by armor making the opponent effectively lose a turn.

I aslo noticed the opponent using snipe which did not kill my Angelic Mandarin making his damage output spread all throughout preventing him to quickly kill my monsters one by one and his rear card has no damage at all. Lastly, only 3 of his monsters benefited from Tarsa's damage boost while all 6 of mine benefitted from Kelya's added speed and armor.
