This is not a bad time to join. I believe that to play you have to buy a pack of cards that is worth $9 and then you can start the challenges. Over time your skills increase and you win more and more challenges and consequently you win more and more SPS. It's a shame that today the SPS is not worth much, but perhaps that is precisely why it can be an opportunity !BEER
