Hotsauce Generation - Everything You Need to Know (Stakehouse Den)

In the evolving world of blockchain gaming and staking, Hot Sauce emerges in Stakehouse Den as more than just a quirky name—it’s the engine that powers extra rewards, cleverly tied to how you stake both cards and script, and how well those cards are upgraded.

What Is Hot Sauce?

Hot Sauce is a reward metric: users generate it by staking cards plus Script (the native token). To begin producing Hot Sauce, every card staked must be accompanied by 2 Script, regardless of its level. The amount of Hot Sauce generated by a card depends on three dimensions:

  • Level — higher-level cards generate more.

  • Rarity — cards of greater rarity (e.g. Rare, Epic, Legendary) yield more than Common.

  • Foil Type — Regular Foils produce less than Gold Foils, which give a substantial bonus.

Simply put: better card + higher rarity + gold foil = more Hot Sauce per day.

How the Numbers Break Down

Stakehouse Den’s whitepaper provides tables with exact generation factors. Here are some illustrative numbers:

  • A level-1 common regular foil card yields 1× factor, but if it’s gold foil, that jumps.

  • As you level up, even common cards grow in Hot Sauce yield; for example, a level-3 regular foil epic or legendary card produces significantly more than at level 1.

  • Gold foil can multiply the benefits considerably. For example, a Gold Foil Legendary card at higher level can generate many times more Hot Sauce than its regular foil counterpart. Daily maximums rise as level, rarity, and foil increase.

Why It Matters

Hot Sauce isn’t just a side perk—it’s central to optimizing your returns. If you’re staking cards, you’ll want to:

  • Upgrade them (level up) to raise generation factors.

  • Collect higher-rarity cards—rare, epic, legendary—to maximize rewards.

  • Pursue gold foil versions whenever possible, since their yield multipliers are clearly superior.

This setup creates meaningful choices: do you focus resources on upgrading one epic gold foil or spreading across several lower level common cards? The trade-offs are real.
