Naughty NFT's: Damn it, copyright laws.

Yes, half way through minting my first NFT album, I have ran into first copyright issue. Even though I did took all the necessary precautions to avoid that. Well it wasn't directly targeting my art. Be it upcycled or recycled free public domain or not. And, yes it was here on Hive.

I must say I do admire their effort. Who would wish for scrolling through hundreds of copy cat articles with little to no value. But as I am putting quite some time and effort into my work, I was deeply touched by the accusation. Even though it might have been just a bot, and I admit, recognizing one of probably often used pixabay photos, which I first modified as allowed by the platform's rules. In any case, from now on I will be more careful and censor my own. Hopefully it will go further without trouble. After all it is just an NFT based experiment.

So, as always copyright law is purely double standard game, specially when it comes to courts and third (and corruptible) party involvements. But, that is the way it is, when using some platform one has to deal with it's set of rules. But is somewhat weird to form third party alignments like Hive Watchers and act like deliberate police force in already Up and Down voting mechanism. Why not letting the community and one's followers to decide what is spam or not. Specially when using modified copyright free images for a specific article once at a time.

So here comes sixth creation of mine. Minted today. Get it while it's hot. Oh, wait it is NAFTY, it will remain hot ;)

For the potential buyers, who would find my art worth 100k NAFTY, the platforms native token.
