Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge: A Pickle for the Masses (ENG/ITA)

The new Conclave Arcana card edition is now in full swing, not only in the 3 ranked formats, Modern, Wild, and Survival, but also in Guild Brawls, where many Frays are now exclusive to the last two formats: Rebellion and Conclave.

So, for players who chose to just watch for now and not jump into the new card edition right away, many areas of the platform are starting to close their doors. I’m not saying that’s necessarily a bad strategy, I did something similar with the Rebellion edition myself, buying just a few packs during the Presale and then selectively picking up my favorite monsters from the market.

The prices of the new cards on the internal market have dropped significantly, all well below $20, and even some legendary cards are now under $5.

At the top of the list is a card dedicated to Yabapmatt: Archmage Yabanius, which has high collector’s value. Next comes the new archon Sheng Xiao, who grants two teammates the new Poison Burst ability. In third place, we have a neutral monster, Bren Palesworn, also featuring a new ability players will need to learn to master: Shapeshift.

But now begins the phase of Promo and special edition cards, while we wait for the Conflicts airdrops. We still don’t know when they’ll begin, but it’s better to be prepared with a solid number of cards to load on the Wagons.

The newest monster to arrive on the Splinterlands planet is another card dedicated to Yabapmatt—you can see it in the images above. It’s called Yaba's Pickle.

It’s a common Water card, from the Golem Bloodline (like Chaos Golem), and it has no attack. However, with a very low mana cost of just 4, it boasts good defensive stats and evasive and regenerative abilities that increase with higher upgrade levels.

At the first two levels, it has no abilities. At level 2, it gains Dodge, followed by Shield, Slow, and Heal.

So it will be a very affordable card, accessible to everyone at a low cost, since it’s a common monster and not a limited-edition legendary with collector’s value.

However, to make it perform well, you’ll need to collect quite a few copies, maybe dozens just to get started, and some players will even aim for hundreds. Specifically, 400 BCX will allow you to upgrade the card to level 10.

Make sure your archons are upgraded to the right level to summon a common card at max level!

There will be 3 ways to obtain Yaba's Pickle, let’s look at them:

• 1. The first will be reserved for SPS stakeholders. Every 1000 SPS held during the upcoming Snapshot (to occur in the next few days) will grant the right to purchase one Yaba's Pickle card in the shop.

• 2. One week later, there will be a Raffle where each ticket purchased will grant one copy of the card and the chance to win a Gold Foil Arcane!

• 3. Within a week after the raffle ends, there will be an Auction for a Yaba's Pickle Black Foil Arcane. A total of 20 of these cards will be auctioned, one every 25 hours, where participants can battle it out with increasingly high bids.
  From experience, these events are usually exclusive to the game’s big whales who compete with staggering amounts, while us smaller players can only watch.

But the important thing is to participate, and Yaba's Pickle is a great common card to have in your deck, even if you’re spending just a few dollars.

Ciao a tutti amici di Splinterlands !!!

La nuova edizione di carte Conclave Arcana è ormai in piena attività, non solo nei 3 formati ranked, ovvero Modern, Wild e Survival , ma anche nelle Brawls per le Guilds, dove tante Fray, ormai, sono esclusive solo per gli ultimi 2 formati, ovvero Rebellion e Conclave.

Quindi, per i giocatori che hanno scelto di stare a guardare, per ora, e di non entrare subito nella nuova edizione di carte, si stanno vedendo chiudere la porta di tanti settori della piattaforma: non dico che sia una strategia malvagia, anch'io ho fatto una cosa simile con l'edizione Rebellion, comprando pochi pacchetti nella Presale, ed entrando nel mercato per comprare, in maniera selettiva i mostri che mi piacevano di più.

I prezzi delle nuove carte, sul mercato interno, si sono molto abbassate, tutte ampiamente sotto i 20$, e ci sono anche leggendarie sotto i 5 $.

In prima posizione abbiamo una carta dedicata a Yabapmatt, ovvero Archmage Yabanius, dall'alto valore collezionistico , seguita dal nuovo archon Sheng Xiao che dona a 2 compagni di squdra la nuova abilità Poison Burst, e in terza posizione abbiamo un mostro neutrale, Bren Palesworn, anche lui con una nuova abilità che i giocatori devono imparare ad usare, ovvero la Shapeshift.

Ma adesso inizia la fase delle carte Promo e delle edizioni speciali, aspettando le airdrop delle Conflicts, che ancora non sappiamo quando inizieranno, ma meglio arrivare preparati con un bel numero di carte da mettere sulle Wagons.

E il nuovo mostro ad arrivare sul pianeta Splinterlands è un'altra carta dedicata a Yabapmatt, la potete vedere nelle immagini qui sopra, si chiama Yaba's Pickle.

Carta comune dell'elemento Water, e della Bloodline Golem, come Chaos Golem, non possiede nessun attacco, però , per il costo molto basso di soli 4 mana, ha buone stats difensive e abilità evasive e rigenerative, a mano a mano che aumentano i livelli di potenziamento.

Ai primi 2 livelli, non possiede nessuna abilità, ma al livello 2 inizia ad acquisire Dodge, a cui si aggiungono Shield, Slow e Heal.

Sarà, quindi, una carta molto economica, disponibile a tutti con un prezzo molto accessibile, infatti è un mostro comune e non un leggendario a tiratura limitata con particolare valore da collezionismo.

Però, per renderla performante, bisogna prenderne parecchi esemplari, forse decine e decine per iniziare, ma c'è anche chi punta a centinaia, e nello specifico, a 400 BCX, che vi permetterà di avere una carta al livello 10 di potenziamento.

Controllate di avere gli archons potenziati al livello giusto per poter evocare una carta comune al massimo livello !!!

Ci saranno 3 modi per ottenre Yaba's Pickle, vediamoli insieme:

-1 il primo sarà riservato agli stake holder di SPS, ogni 1000 SPS detenuti durante lo Snapshot, che avverrà nei prossimi gionri, darà la possibilità di acquisto di una carta di Yaba's Pickle nello shop del sito.

-2 dopo una settimana, ci sarà un Raffle, dove ogni biglietto acquistato darà un esemplare della carta, e la possibilità di partecipare all'estrazione di una Gold Foil Arcane !

-3 entro una settimana dopo la fine della Raffle, ci sara una Auction per una Yaba's Pickle Black Foil Arcane , in cui saranno messe all'asta 20 carte di questo tipo, una al giorno con una cadenza di 25 ore, in cui i partecipante all'asta possono battagliare a forza di offerte via via sempre più alte.
Per esperienza, di solito, questi eventi sono esclusiva solo delle grandi balene del gioco, che si sfidano con cifre da capogiro, noi altri piccoli giocatori possiamo solo stare a guardare.

Ma l'importante è partecipare, e Yaba's Pickle è un'ottima carta comune da avere nel proprio mazzo, anche spendendo pochi soldi.
