Last week we had a look at all the Conclave Arcana details in THIS post. I will start this one with a recap of my plans for the Conclave Arcana presale, and then we'll have a look at the cards that have been shown so far.

My initial plan was to just burn 2 weeks worth of SPS unstaking or about 270K SPS, however, a few days ago I also added to that another 149,000 SPS which I purchased with fiat at 0.0115. I'm already up a fair bit on that so that's great. This caused my plan to shift from burning about 270K to burning 415K SPS. To be honest I wish I did not have to burn any of mu SPS but I want to participate in the CA presale and subsequently play with the cards more than I currently value my staked SPS. I've got to note that I've been accumulating SPS for 3 years and this is the first time I'm "spending" any of it. In this case it's not really spending - I'm just converting one type SPL asset into another. Hopefully 2 things will happen - SPS will keep going up as the presale approaches and during it and we hit 2.5C-3C or even 4C - who knows, and second the presale won't sell out instantly, so that will give me time to acquire more of the SPS I'll be unstaking. I want to spend 4.4M DEC on the presale (or more depending on the price of SPS and DEC) so I get max copies of both promo cards. As for the types of packs I'll be shooting for, I might actually go with the whole amount spent on Legendary packs. I'm still not sure about that. Ofc, 4.4M is basically about 30% of what needs to be spent if you want to secure a fully maxed collection on day 1. I'll be stretching myself massively even coming up with that so maxing the deck after that will be a very long (and probably expensive) process.

Now let's have a look at the cards that have been officially released so far:
- Name: Blazebeard Merc
- Element: Fire
- Bloodline: Dwarf

He's a 3-mana Epic Card and he is a Dwarf (a Bloodline we have a rare Archon (summoner) for). At level 1 he has 2 Melee Attack, 3 Speed, 7 Armor and 4 Health. He also starts with 1 Ability and 1 Debilitation. The Debilitation is Incendiary and the Ability is Charge. At level 2 he gains an additional point of Melee Attack for a total of 3. Then at level 3 he gains the Piercing ability as well as an extra point of Health for a total of 5. At level 4 his Melee Attack gets upped to a total of 4 and his HP is also increased by 1 point for a total of 6. Next at level 5 he gets yet another point of Melee Attach for a total of 5 as well as an additional point of Armor for a total of 8. Finally at max level, he has 5 Melee Attack, 3 Speed, 8 Armor and 7 HP but more importantly he also gains his last ability - Bloodlust. I don't think you need me to tell you that this card is pretty bonkers, and I've also had the pleasure to play with it from day 1 of testing, and it actually got nerfed pretty quickly. :D So, imagine how much more bonkers it initially was. I really like the card and I think he's really fun for low-mana and Little League battles.

Name: Auroral Elemental
Element: Life
Bloodline: Elemental

The Auroral Elemental is another Epic card from the new set. She (?) is of the Elemental bloodline (no interaction in the game yet? for it) and is a 5-mana Melee Attacker. At level 1 she starts off with 1 Melee Attack, 2 Speed, 4 Armor and 4 HP as well as the Reach Ability. At level 2 she gains an extra point of Melee Attack for a total of 2. At level 3 she actually loses a point in the Armor section and drops down to 3, however, she gains her 2nd ability which is Protect. Then at level 4 she gains back her 1 point of Armor and the base is brought back to 4. At level 5 she gains one more point of Melee Attack for a total of 3. She also gains 1 Speed for a total of 3. She also gains her final ability - Enfeeble. Finally at level 6 she has 4 Melee Attack, 3 Speed, 4 Armor and 4 HP. While this card does not necessarily shine, she does seem to be a pretty decent off-tank. Her Protect ability could turn out to be pretty useful in combination with other abilities which take advantage of the extra Armor she provides.

Name: Bren Palesworn
Element: Neutral
Bloodline: Human

Bren Paleswron is a 6-mana Legendary Neutral card with a dual-attack - Ranged and Melee. Don't let the stick figure placeholder fool you - he's a human (as seen in his actual artwork above). At level 1 he starts off with 1 Melee Attack, 2 Ranged Attack, 3 Speed, 0 Armor and 4 HP as well as 2 abilities - Sneak and Shapeshift

As you can see even though he's a human, he's actually counted as all possible bloodlines due to this newly introduced ability. That's pretty big for obvious reasons. At level 2 he gains an additional ability - Weapons Training. This is the first Weapons Trainer with a dual-attack which means... yeah.. he grants a Melee and a Ranged attack to adjacent units with no attack. At level 3 he gains an additional point of Melee Attack for a total of 2 and 1 more HP for a total of 5. Finally at level 4 he has 3 Melee Attack, 2 Ranged Attack, 3 Speed, 0 Armor and 5 HP. He also gains one more ability- True Strike. He's a very interesting card for more than one reason. We'll see how he'll fit in the upcoming CA meta.

Name: Forked-Tongue Sage
Element: Fire
Bloodline: Saurian

The Forked-Tongue Sage is a Rare card from the new set. He (?) is of the Saurian bloodline (no interaction in the game yet? for it). He's a 2-mana Magic Attacker. At level 1 he has 1 Magic Attack, 2 Speed, 0 Armor and 2 HP. He also has the Snipe ability. Being 2 mana, there's not much happening until the last level so I'll just skip ahead to level 8. At level 8 he has 2 Magic Attack, 4 Speed, 2 Armor and 6 HP. He also gains his 2nd ability - Magic Reflect. This is actually a pretty good unit for 2 mana, specifically for Little League and Magic Only rulesets as well as low-mana battles in general.

Name: Water Diviner
Element: Water
Bloodline: Gnome

The Water Diviner is a Rare card from the new set. He is of the Gnome bloodline and there is a Gnome specific Archon to boost all Gnomes in the game. He's a 2-mana Magic Attacker. At level 1 he has 2 Magic Attack, 2 Speed, 0 Armor and 4 HP. He also has 1 Debilitation and 1 Ability - Electrified and Taunt. Being 2 mana, there's not much happening until the last level so I'll just skip ahead to level 8. At level 8 he has 4 Magic Attack, 3 Speed, 0 Armor and 7 HP. He also gains his 2nd ability - Stun. This is actually a very good unit for 2 mana, specifically for Little League and Magic Only rulesets as well as low-mana battles in general.
