Incredible, incredible 6 years of our favorite game, the one that caught us, the one that has drawn smiles on our faces, the one that has brought moments of satisfaction and success, but that has also brought moments of frustration, that has raised our hopes to the clouds and then let them fall, the one that has made us daydream and has kept us hooked for a long time.

If I have to describe Splinterlands and what I have experienced on this platform, the above words would not be lacking, since in my case this game has been for me a roller coaster of emotions, expectations, achievements and even a means to put food on my family's table, to help my parents in the most basic needs of a family.

When and how I got to know the game...

Well, well it's already six years and I'm here since 2019 so I have here 5 years, this makes me almost a pioneer of the game, and together with my older brother we managed to build in a couple of years a respectable account, my brother and I have shared this account from the beginning since we never had the money needed to pay another account, and when we had the opportunity to make them we were already adapted to play turn-based.

Splinterlands I met him through my dad, he found out about a game in this Bockchain where we would have the opportunity to generate some income and asked for support to the good friend @achim03 who kindly paid to start the account and we began to discover the operation of the game alone until we mastered the mechanics and began to grow.

Achim besides helping us with the account, at some point helped us delegating cards to improve our competitiveness within the game, a user who helped us with an important delegation of cards, summoners, very powerful golden cards for several years was @he-went-rogue a user that I have no idea if he is still active on the platform.

A bit inactive...

The truth is that I dedicate a lot of time to this game, because I like it, although right now I am not generating what I would like to generate, but just at this moment and this season I have not played, I have been somewhat inactive and the reason has been the recent changes, honestly I have not yet fully adapted, because in my opinion they were radical changes in a very short time, however, I have never thought about quitting, now I'm in a stage waiting for the dust to “settle” generated by the latest changes.

But once everything is stabilized I return to the load, surely at the end of this season I will be active in the next one to see how it goes, since my intention is to take this account to the place where I arrive in 2021 and if possible to make it stronger.

Turning point...

Whenever I write about Splinterlands I must talk about what happens in the year 2021, the year in which Splinterlands became tangible at home in the form of food and household goods for the family, I think it was the highest point of the domestic market of cards (Correct me if I'm wrong), these were very well priced.

This year we discovered that if we commercialized the cards we could use the money to mitigate the deep crisis in our country and particularly in our house, that year the virtual world and the Play2ern Boom were reality in our table, that was a good Christmas for us who had suffered several years.

After this I must confess that I came to think that I made a bad decision using all my accumulated cards to meet the needs in my house, practically “finished” with the entire collection, then seeing the behavior of the market in recent months a good friend told me, it was the best thing you said to take advantage of that moment in the market and that has made me consider what I thought before.

We will still be here for a long time....

I honestly think that the game is having a difficult time, but even so, I have the firm decision to continue investing in the game for a long time to come. Splinterlands, time and money, Splinterlands has given me a lot of good things so I will keep trying to rebuild this account, because even though we are going through a difficult time, the developers have been working full out trying to make the game more attractive to investors and this is a good indication of good things to come in the future.

So if you are here coming and you are new, I advise you to arm yourself with patience, to learn to master the dynamics of the game, I am talking about the integral game with all its elements since there are many ways to have fun, to invest and to generate income in Splinterlands.
