Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - The Bots of Silver League

Bots are very common in Splinterlands. They typically reside in masses in the lower league like Bronze and Silver. Today I will talk about some of these bots and their lineup. Hopefully it will help the newer players in your battle against them in some ways when you meet them.

The 3 group of well known tougher bots in the Silver league are those accounts starting with shangtingxxxx, longbienxxx and chungtillxx where x is a number. They usually only operate in the Wild ranked league and are quite hard to beat as they rent some pretty good units to create their own setup. Today we will talk about one of the bot LongBienXXXX and what are their favourite setup.

LongBienXXXX
Most of the LongBienXXXX accounts I came across like to use Death lineup (although I also came across Llama/Kron and Yodin setup). Their favourite summoner are usually a level 4 Zintar Mortalis. If you see an opponent last 5 battles include a level 4 Zintar Mortalis a few times, it is likely a LongBienXXXX bot account.

Favourite units LongBienXXXX like to use in a melee match are level 4 Haunted Spirit, Haunted Spider and Octopider. In a magic match LongBienXXXX would use Prismatic Energy, Phantom Soldier and Ancient Lich. Dark Ha'on is something used as well as a taunting tank.

ShangTingXXXX and ChungTillXX like to use Llama/Kron and Yodin. If you are using a level 1 or level 2 summoner, it is usually very hard to win against these bots. Most of my wins against these bots are through the use of Level 2 Legendary summoner like Quix or Grandmaster Rath. You can see these battles in the links below:

So far the hardest to counter for me is Llama/Kron combo. If you are finding it very hard to fight against these bots, best bet is to rent summoners that are just as high as their to stand a chance.

If you don't want to rent, then you can also avoid these bots by letting them climb higher up the ladder before you start your climb. Alternatively you can also see if the bots are in operation by searching their name in the Player search to see if they are active in the last couple of hours.
