Weekly Battle Challenge - VENARI KNIFER

Welcome to the challenge of this week.
In this post, I'll share my experience and strategies to use VENARI KNIFER effective in your battles.

Let's explore:

The Positions of My Monsters

Venari Knifer is in the first position and the tank is supported with additional armour coming from Queen Mycelia. Every time a melee attacker hit this tough boy, they received 2 extra damages😉

The Magic Attackers are protected by melee attackers as they were the main sources of damage to eliminate the tank and off-tanks of the rival's desk. The moment the ranged ones came to the first line, the rival's team could not manage to deal enough damage to my monsters.

Regal Peryton was in the last line as it can easily escape from the deadliest damages of melee attackers thanks to its 5 speed and flying ability.

The Strength of the team

There are 3 magic attackers 1 melee with the opportunity to target the rival with lowest health points and a solid tank VENARI KNIFER.

I chose to strengthen my magic damage because I knew that my rival will be using melee and ranged attacks as s/he used in earlier battles. Thus, VENARI KNIFER would be a perfect match if I can add an amour to this ruthless monster.

Thanks to the armour given by (X), the melee attackers will suffer from 2 addional damage! So, 6 magic attack to the tank of the rival + 2 damages from thorn + 2 melee damage from VENARI KNIFER + (If possible) 1 damage from the opportunity 😎

IF we always prioritize a balanced team to win against the most dangerous team sets, we never lose in lower leagues. Besides, it is mostly useful to consider the earlier team sets of the rivals as well as the popular monsters that are relied on by the players in the leaguges you play.

The Threats!

Actually, I would be in trouble if my rival had chosen magic attackers that may deal more than 7 magic attacks to VENARI before my team could take an action.

In that case, it would be too hard for me to win the match as the team set of mine was based on enduring melee and ranged attacks that can be handled easily by VENARI and the monster in the second position (VENARI SCOUT).

Renting is Crucial!

I rent Queen Mycelia for by using some Credits (you can rent by using DEC, too).

Thanks to my rental, I was able to provide 1 armour to all of my monster. This monster is an amazing Legendary card that you can buy or rent for really cheap!

The Result

The result is a victory for my side. I believe there are two major reasons:
1- I cared about the set-up of my rival in previous battles
2- I set up a well-balanced & protected team with unique abilities such as Thorn, Opportunity & Protect.
