In this battle, we will examine a level 1 Soul Strangler and its contribution to the team set. Soul Strangler is a perfect ranged attacker for the new players. It only takes 3 mana to deal 2 ranged attack at 2 speed! I believe every team set is up for this functional monster.

While it is low-mana and strong ranged attacker, it should be kept safe well to use it affectively. Any monster with opportunity may easily eliminate the monster even before it deals the first damage! So, the monster should be accompanied by other monsters for maximum performance!

The second battle of Soul Strangler was much easier than the previous one. The rival team targeted both armour and the magic attackers of my monsters but none of the types were available in my team set. So, it was a big advantage for me.

Actually it was a low mana battle that was limited to 18 mana! So, it was needed to be used wisely. I used Haunt Spirit for 5 mana and max protection with healing as the tank. Then, Carron Shade was in the second position in case of the death of my tank.

Soul Strangler was in protection thanks to Goblin in the last line and Carron in the second line. It provided me maximum benefit from 2 ranged attack points.

2 Melee and 2+2 ranged attacks were dealt every raund. It was more than enough to wipe them out!

So, the healing was the best part of my tank and the ranged attackers were hot!

I did not use a complicated team set up for the level 1 monsters but the performance of my team was worth appreciating.

Simple but effective 😉

It was a battle that I had solid advantages against my rival.

My rival missed the focuses of my team. No armor and no single magic attackers that he wanted to target. Besides, my healer brought huge trouble for it as the half of the damage per raound was compensated by each healing session.

My ranged attackers were safe as there was no sneak or opportunity attackers. Besides, The ranged and magic attackers of my rival did not have snipe, either.

In terms of weaknesses, my team was well designed but 2 melee attackers with opportunity or sneak ability would end up the game in a terrible way for me. Take a look at the HP of my ranged attackers. They were open target for immense melee attackers!

A furious chicken at the last position with 1 HP would eliminate the risk of both attack types. I think I need a furious chicken asap!

My monsters were safe and secure at the end of the battle.

I think the set up is a nice example for new players who want to have an effective team set that can work fine against several types of team sets.

Goblin, Soul Strangler and Haunt Spirit were perfect match to eliminate any monster in the first position.

Result: Victory! 😎
