Espero se encuentren muy bien, hoy les traigo el proceso de este retrato de este pequeño amigo felino el cual es el personaje principal dentro de un videojuego llamando Stray, nuestro pequeño gato el cual debe salvar a este mundo donde habitan algunos animales y los robots. Hello my creative friends at hive! I hope you are very well, today I bring you the process of this portrait of this little feline friend which is the main character in a video game called Stray, our little cat who must save this world where some animals and robots inhabit. • Lo que utilice para realizar el dibujo en tradicional en una hoja tipo cartulina tamaño 35 x 28 cm, un lápiz de grafito 2 HB y un borrador (corté mi borrador haciendo que las esquinas quedarán en punta así será más fácil borrar espacios pequeños), mis colores, un marcador marrón, negro, amarillo, naranja y rosado y un corrector líquido blanco.

• What I used to make the drawing in traditional on a cardboard type sheet size 35 x 28 cm, a graphite pencil 2 HB and an eraser (I cut my eraser making the corners to be pointed so it will be easier to erase small spaces), my colors, a brown, black, yellow, orange and pink marker and a white liquid corrector.

Comencé haciendo un boceto del rostro el cual tuve de referencia una imagen de pinterest y la cuál es una imagen de una de las portadas del videojuego, quizás la forma del gato haya quedado un tanto rara pero está sería la segunda vez que dibujo un gato después de muchos años sin intentarlo y quería ver cómo quedaba uno y pintarlo con colores, al tener el boceto listo comencé a pintarlo, primero comencé pintando sus ojos mezclando verde y amarillo y con marrón fui haciendo las manchas de su piel, algunas partes iluminadas que hacían que la piel se viera roja las pinte con rosado y un poco de rojo, para el bolso en su espalda use marcador negro, color negro y para las luces fui mezclando rosado con morado y negro. Con color naranja fui poco a poco construyendo la transición entre el color marrón y el naranja para poder hacer que se vieran mejor los colores cuando usara el tono principal, el amarillo.

I started making a sketch of the face which I had as a reference an image from pinterest and which is an image of one of the covers of the video game, maybe the shape of the cat has been a little weird but this would be the second time I draw a cat after many years without trying it and I wanted to see how one looked like and paint it with colors, when I had the sketch ready I began to paint it, first I started painting its eyes mixing green and yellow and with brown I made the spots of its skin, some illuminated parts that made the skin look red I painted them with pink and a little bit of red, for the bag on its back I used black marker, black color and for the lights I mixed pink with purple and black. With orange I slowly built up the transition between the brown and orange to make the colors look better when I used the main color, yellow.

Para los bordes de su traje que va unido al bolso use azul claro y turquesa los cuales uni con color blanco, fui pintando parte de su pierna y cola con marcador negro y con color rosado para hacer las luces rosas que se reflejan en el luego continúe construyendo los colores de su piel con amarillo mostaza y un amarillo claro. Para su nariz mezcle rosa claro con fucsia y un poco de rojo, con color marrón fui haciendo las manchas de su piel y las sombras y el color principal de su pelaje fue el amarillo mostaza.

For the edges of its suit that is attached to the bag I used light blue and turquoise which I joined with white, I painted part of its leg and tail with black marker and pink to make the pink lights that reflect on it, then I continued building the colors of its fur with mustard yellow and light yellow. For its nose I mixed light pink with fuchsia and a little red, with brown I made the spots on its skin and the shadows and the main color of its fur was mustard yellow.

Este es el resultado del dibujo, para terminar de agregar más detalles a su pelaje use marcadores los cuales fui aplicando poco a poco y limpiando con el dedo para evitar dejar manchas sin forma, con marrón oscureci un poco más las sombras marrones de su piel además de dar crear un sombreado en otras partes como en las orejas y en las patas, con naranja fui construyendo los pelitos en su pecho, patas y rostro y ya con marcador amarillo hice algunos detallitos más en su pelaje. Ya para terminar use un corrector líquido blanco para pintar los brillos en sus ojos y nariz y también para pintar sus bigotes. Aunque me costó un poco hacer este dibujo ya que no estoy tan acostumbrada a dibujar gatos o animales en general siento que es un gran paso y un gran avance en mi práctica para dibujar animales, se me complicó un poco la parte de dibujar el pelaje ya que sentí que lo hice muy cargado pero aún así me encantó el resultado y hacerlo. Este videojuego paso a ser de mis favoritos luego de conocer su historia y no solo por ello es mi favorito sino que combina todo lo que me gusta, gatos y utopías o ciudades futuristas, la historia es sencilla pero que se añade más peso y potencia haciendo que nuestro protagonista sea un gato, además el diseño de los personajes es increíble y junto con el diseño de la arquitectura de los lugares a donde viajamos con este felino hacen que este juego sea un verdadero placer visual tanto en colores como en texturas y formas.🐱✨

This is the result of the drawing, to finish adding more details to its fur I used markers which I applied little by little and cleaning with my finger to avoid leaving unshaped spots, with brown I darkened a little more the brown shadows of its skin and also created a shading in other parts like its ears and paws, with orange I built the little hairs on its chest, paws and face and with yellow marker I made some more details in its fur. Finally I used a white liquid concealer to paint the glitter in its eyes and nose and also to paint its whiskers. Although it was a little hard to do this drawing since I'm not used to draw cats or animals in general I feel it's a big step and a great advance in my practice to draw animals, it was a little complicated to draw the fur since I felt that I did it too heavy but I still loved the result and I loved doing it. This video game happened to be one of my favorites after knowing its story and not only for that it is my favorite but it combines everything I like, cats and utopias or futuristic cities, the story is simple but that is added more weight and power by making our protagonist a cat, also the design of the characters is amazing and along with the design of the architecture of the places where we travel with this feline make this game a real visual pleasure both in colors and textures and shapes.🐱✨
