Splinterlands Daily Quest : Life Quest
Hey guys.. မင်္ဂလာပါ..
Here we go again Life Quest.
1st Battle
21 mana capped match. As usual, Time Mage and Truthspeaker are a must. The match is against Earth Splinter. The opponent line-up Unicorn Mustang followed by 1 mana cards. Regal Peryton is placed at the end of the line after Khmer Princess. Although Truthspeaker didn't help much against magic units, it was still important. Time Mage was very good at slowing down that the Pelecor Arbalest hardly missed the target. 1/5 in one match.
2nd Battle
22 mana capped match. Once again, it was against Earth Splinter. As usual, the opponent field the Unicorn Mustang as the tank. Problem could be the healer which is positioned on the second place followed by Khmer Princess. I didn't have sniper and my opportunity card would damage only 1 health at a time, Time Mage wouldn't do any damage to the Unicorn Mustang and my attack option only left with Pelecor Arbalest. Not sure if it could take out Unicorn Mustang quicker than the healer can heal.
Once again, none of my attack was missed, 2/5.
3rd Battle
16 mana capped match. Again, it was against Earth Splinter. This time, the difference is that thorn ability and summoner with -2 shield is used. The healer is placed in the second position.
My attack was too weak to overcome the healer as there was no shield, although filled up all the slots, it was no match for 3 cards with strong abilities.
4th Battle
It was against Fire Splinter. So, my Truthspeaker was target first and I was defenseless since in the early game. It was a bit strange that even with the help of Time Mage, my cards were easily hit by the enemy cards.
5th Battle
It was 16 mana capped match and I was quite sure that the other side would choose Earth Splinter. I took a risk by not using Time Mage for it's weakness against Fail Summoner which is very likely to field in low mana capped match. Without Time Mage, I was worried about Pelecor Arbalest's ability, it might miss a few shots and it would decide the result of the match. As expected, it was against Earth Splinter and the Failed. Summoner was placed on the second position. Let's see if Pelecor Arbalest can hit Regal Peryton without any mistake.
As worried, Pelecor Arbalest missed both shots to the Regal Peryton and now I lost three match in a row and still 2/5.
6th Battle
27 mana capped match and I decided to field Djinn Revona. For some reason, I don't usually win whenever I use Djinn Revona. May be it is not that good with 7 mana cost. The match was against Fire Splinter and Truthspeaker is in danger.
Luckily, my 2 speed Celestial Harpy strike ahead of Serpentine Spy and killed it so that the Truthspeaker was safe and shields were intact. After loosing 3 matches in a row, now 3/5.
7th Battle
20 mana capped match against Death Splinter. I was against two magic snipers, one being Magi Necrosi. My already weaken range units because of the Thaddius Brood's summoner effect were easily got killed.
8th Battle
13 mana capped match against Earth Splinter. It was a back and forth fighting until Time Mage was eliminated. Couldn't hit the very fast flying Regal Peryton is I lost Time Mage.
9th Battle
28 mana capped match. Today, most of my opposition teams are magic heavy Earth Splinters. I changed my line-up and I got beaten up easily.
Now I lost 3 in a row again and still 3/5.
10th Battle
27 mana against Water Splinter. Fast Serpent of Eld supported by healer and repair. Even with Time Mage, Serpent of Eld was very hard to hit and every miss means it would be healed and shielded. While my monsters were busy with the tank, Deepluker eliminated my cards one after another. 4th lost match in a row and 7th loss of the night.
11th Battle
It was getting late and I was starting to feel tired. But a win against Water Splinter with Serpent of Eld as a tank gave me some motivation. 22 mana capped match meant the enemy couldn't use both healer and repair. The Pelecor Arbalest missed a few shots, but once it hit both attacks, the defense was broken and gave me a much needed win.
12th Battle
21 mana match against Life Splinter with similar line-up. I was clearly upper hand until my Time Mage was out and enemy left with Time Mage. It was a double blow to me. My attacking card was slowed down to 1 speed and it was uphill battle against speed 4. When the enemy was down to only one card, I still have 3 cards. So, even though there ware several missed attacks, just one hit was needed to win and it found the target finally. The quest was fulfilled after 12 hard fought battles.
And now is time to claim the reward. I am still in the bronze III and I couldn't hope for a good reward.
And.... it was 52 credits.
