En el lenguaje actual una de las palabras que se ha vuelto recurrente es NFT, muchos la utilizamos, otros simplemente la repetimos y es un reflejo de algo mucho mayor: el impacto que tiene a nivel mundial.
In today's language one of the words that has become recurrent is NFT, many of us use it, others simply repeat it and it is a reflection of something much bigger: the impact it has worldwide.
Ahora bien, qué son, qué significan esas iniciales o por qué han tenido tanto impacto. Empecemos aclarando las iniciales: NFT son la abreviatura de Non -Fungible Token, siendo la palabra fungible la clave para comprenderlo.

En el espectro legal o jurídico los bienes se clasifican en fungibles y no fungibles, siendo los fungibles aquellas pertenencias que pueden darse en intercambio, porque son reemplazables, siendo el dinero o el petróleo dos muestras evidente de lo que es un bien fungible. Y los bienes no fungibles son aquellos que por su naturaleza única no tienen poder liberatorio, es decir no es sustituible, por ejemplo una pintura, una moto o un vehículo de colección.
In the legal or juridical spectrum, goods are classified as fungible and non-fungible, being fungible those belongings that can be exchanged, because they are replaceable, being money or oil two obvious examples of what is a fungible good. And the non-fungible goods are those that by their unique nature have no liberatory power, i.e. it is not replaceable, for example a painting, a motorcycle or a vehicle the colection.
Siendo así, los NFT son fichas (tokens) de valor, utilizadas en un espectro de negocio, de allí la relación de los NFT con las criptomonedas, por cuanto tecnológicamente es el anverso o reverso de esa unidad monetaria.
Thus, NFTs are tokens of value, used in a business spectrum, hence the relationship of NFTs with cryptocurrencies, because technologically it is the obverse or reverse of that monetary unit.
Por consiguiente, el impacto mundial de los NFT radica en su no fungibilidad, porque son activos singulares que no pueden ser sometidos a modificaciones y cuyo intercambio por otro que posea su mismo valor no logra darse, por el hecho que no hay dos NFT iguales. Por ejemplo, en un juego logras ganar una carta o una mascota digital, que es un token, que te permite avanzar de nivel o ganar una partida, al ser único e irrepetible, como un objeto coleccionable, se dan las condiciones necesarias para generar un ambiente económico, por cuanto el intercambio por otro igual no existe, de allí su precio y valor.
Therefore, the global impact of NFTs lies in their non-fungibility, because they are unique assets that cannot be subject to modification and whose exchange for another that has the same value does not happen, because no two NFTs are the same. For example, in a game you manage to win a card or a digital pet, which is a token, that allows you to advance in level or win a game, being unique and unrepeatable, as a collectible object, the necessary conditions are given to generate an economic environment, because the exchange for another equal does not exist, hence its price and value.
En conclusión, los NFT llegaron para quedarse y debemos documentarnos sobre ellos para interactuar de manera más provechosa en este universo digital.
