Overriding the Ancient Signal.

After positioning myself on the ruins, I successfully leaped onto the Tallneck as it passed by. I climbed its massive frame to reach the head, where I performed a spear override to reveal the map. After enjoying the island views, I glided down to a small beach for a rest.

After lowering all the ladders for possible future uses, I started looking for the perfect spot from where I could jump on the Tallneck perfectly, and I just found the ideal vantage point to wait for the machine.

When the Tallneck came the closest to me, I took the jump and I landed perfectly on a part of the machine. I gripped the yellow handholds on its neck, feeling the massive vibration of its footsteps as I stabilized my position on its side.

Then I started jumping and climbing with dangerous leaps that I had to perform to get to the top of the Tallneck on its head. I was carefully timing my movements so I would not lose my grip and fall.

After reaching its head, I used my spear to override it. I jammed the master override into the center of the disc and I just knew when it was overridden successfully as the blue energy pulsed outward, clearing the fog from my map.

Before jumping off the tall machine, I decided to check around, as I knew I shouldn't get such views again soon. The tiny islands from up there looked awesome.

I did not find a grappling hook point to descend quickly, so I just jumped into the open air and used my glide to land safely. The Shieldwing deployed with a soft hum, allowing me to drift gracefully down toward the white sandy beaches below.

Then I went to this little island where I let Aloy take some rest after the long quest. The poses in the photo mode provided the perfect solution for that as you can see, letting her rest and enjoy the tropical breeze.
