The Recluse Spider and the GAIA Backup.

I finally made the jump I kept failing before, using the pullcaster and some careful planning. From dodging firegleam detours to accessing a gene-locked hatch, the real reward came late, a GAIA backup hidden deep inside a powered-down facility, guarded by a strange machine called the recluse spider.

That's the same spot from where I kept falling in the water but this time I didn't. I became over careful and jumped safely. Using the secured containment hatch to move, I tried a dangerous jump to go for a pullcaster jump.

I was close to the gene-locked hatch but I had to jump on some more pillars that were away from me. As my pullcaster didn't have enough rope to get to the next grapple point, I had to use it to bring a sturdy beam down and use it as a support.

There was this grapple panel that I had to open up so I could grapple my pullcaster there and then I used the pullcaster to get on that beam that was a little far for a normal jump.

I was right beside the gene-locked hatch but I ignored it seeing a firegleam ahead. I glided there to uncover what's there behind the wall and I ignited the firegleam to find only some worthless loots.

I went back towards the hatch and I got confused when I was too close to it as I didn't see a way to get on it and I didn't want to fall down in the water again. And then I noticed a grapple point right below the platform that I used to get to the gene-locked hatch.

I made it after all and the hatch had red light right after I reached there. I had to open the hatch and when I tried it, a synthetic voice held Aloy for identiscan and authorized entry after confirming genetic profile for Dr. Elisabeth Sobeck.

After getting inside, I had to search the facility for a GAIA backup. And there I found this huge thing without power, except for the console that only had power so I went there to find answers.

After using the operating console, I could activate the huge machine that's called recluse spider. The recluse spider thing is a testing apparatus for GAIA and HADES.

As the GAIA repository was stuck, I had to find a way to lower it after examining the access panel.

There was a pod on a leg of the spider that I had to made come down and I shot on its joint which did the trick. I could access the pod and found a GAIA backup with low data footprint and 98% free memory.

The next post will be coming soon. Screenshots are my take from the game and I took the game logo that I used on the thumbnail picture from online.

SEE YOU.
