Something to Fly?

Reached a lake but my charger could not swim. I tried to override a sky drifter but it flew off. I later found another one, but could not override it, so I silently attacked and killed it. I felt bad that I could not ride it.

I noticed I could change the daytime in the photo mode but I did not change it but I did it later for the night photography contest. I just sat there and took a rest, then I got back on my charger again and moved forward.

After going forward, I realized that I needed to cross a lake to move forward. I needed to go to the body of the octopus-like machines. So I went with my charger to go through the lake but I noticed that my charger could not swim, so I checked out the place from a distance.

I suddenly noticed that there was a spot in the distance where some kangaroo-like machines were jumping around and a flying machine was flying in the sky. I wanted to check if I could override that flying machine so I went towards it.

I went there and hid myself but the kangaroo-like machines detected me with their scanner. Although I was hiding, they attacked me and I escaped from that place. I started climbing up a hill and ditched them.

I noticed that I could climb really smoothly in this game installment. I could not do that in the previous game installment. After climbing up the hill I noticed a bandit camp. I could have fought them but my character told me to ignore it, so I ignored it.

When I moved ahead on the hill, I saw a skydrifter roaming around. I decided to override that machine in any way, so I went towards it but it noticed me and flew away.

I went a little ahead and found a charger site, and at that time, the sun was setting. I overrode a charger there so that it would attack other chargers from that area.

I went a little ahead and saw that right below me was a skydrifter. I wanted to override it but it was very cautious and was reacting to every sound so I had to be extra careful.

Then I jumped and gilded slowly behind that skydrifter. I looked for an override option but did not find it. There was only an option to kill it, which meant I could not override it. So I struck it silently but it did not die. I had to attack several times to kill it. I was feeling bad that I could not ride it.
