Fighting a Nightmare.

I took on a massive Dreadwing, dodging explosives while wishing I could tame such a beast for travel. Using the Shock Boltblaster, I managed to stagger it and move into Testing Facility IVY. Inside, a hologram of Aquino revealed the tragic truth about the failed Adamantine Wreath project.

While I was locked in a fierce battle with that Dreadwing, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe. Looking at its massive wingspan and power, I found myself hoping that I might get a chance to ride one of these machines someday. Imagine being able to rule the sky from the back of a beast like that, which would change everything about how I navigate this world.

The fight quickly turned intense as we had to escape the wrath of the beast as it started launching multiple forms of explosives at us, turning the battlefield into a literal minefield. We had to stay constantly on the move, dodging bursts of fire while looking for any opening to strike back.

I decided to switch tactics and pulled out the Shock Boltblaster. It turned out to be the right call. Since I was playing on a lower difficulty setting, the bolts were doing a great job of staggering the beast. It felt good to finally put some real pressure on it and see those sparks fly as the electricity surged through its armor.

I have to admit, if I hadn't been playing on the easiest setting, taking this beast down would have been a nightmare. The mechanics are complex, and on a higher level, those explosive attacks would have ended me in seconds. I'm just glad I could enjoy the spectacle of the fight without getting constantly frustrated by the challenge.

With the machine finally dealt with, we reached the gate of Testing Facility IVY. It looked imposing and ancient, but we knew we had to get inside to find the answers we were looking for

Once inside, I spent some time exploring the dark corridors until I found a functional console. Aloy mentioned that we needed to find data on the Adamantine Wreath that could be useful to us.

I interacted with the interface, and suddenly, a hologram of Aquino appeared. She explained that the wreaths worked, but the swarm reproduction was already out of control. It was a chilling moment when she said it was simply too late for everyone.
