A Call from Plainsong.

After restoring Poseidon and completing Sea of Sands, I checked on GAIA, learned about biosphere issues, and visited Beta, who was emotionally distant. Then I joined Zo on a mission to heal the land gods. We tracked Apex Grimhorns, fought multiple machines, and launched a powerful explosive shot that shook the entire area.

GAILA looked happy as I have recovered Poseidon. After I inserted the GAIA Kernel and merged POSEIDON with GAIA, the main quest, the Sea of Sands, was completed with this. And GAIA said she has managed to unlock additional rooms within the facility.

I asked GAIA questions about our progress, and she talked about how the biosphere gradually veered ever more sharply towards distraction, and in recent months, disturbances in the biosphere have become obvious.

Before leaving to check on Beta, I returned the survey drone module that I collected from the desert to the base, and I could see the stillsands from there.

I went below to check on Beta, and Varl said Beta found a recording from the data on Aloy's focus, and she has been watching it a lot. Varl things it calms her.

After getting close to Beta, Aloy said she used to watch this a lot too, whenever she wanted to take her mind off things. Then Varl started talking about what he had chatted with Beta about, and it looked like Beta was still confused, so Aloy suggested leaving it at that.

Varl asked Aloy what was wrong, and she replied she was trying, but Beta is tough to take, when Aloy is there risking her life every day. Aloy then mentioned she needed to get back out there to get to Demeter's coordinates.

Zo needed my help with something, so I went to her and saw her working on something along with Varl.
Zo thinks there's a way to heal the land gods so that they will once again provide Plainsong with grain. GAIA gave her a set of instructions; she called it a "Reboot Code". GAIA also helped her locate two Grimhorn that they would need to kill and collect components.

After first traveling to the Grimhorn site, I called Zo, as she said she would help me finding the Grimhorns. Then after Zo reached the spot, we started moving ahead to get to the machines we were looking for.

We located some machines, but they are not only the Apex Grimhorns we were looking for; there are more machines, like there was a flying one as well, and I understood we'd have to fight all of them at once.

After checking their movement, I used the Cleaving Sharpshot Bow to shoot one of the big machines. And it looked like the arrow was explosive. And it did a huge explosion in that machine. The damage was so huge that even the structures around the machine started falling down.
The next post will be coming soon. Screenshots are my take from the game and I took the game logo that I used on the thumbnail picture from online.

One of the things I really love about this video game is its lighting; it looks amazing and colorful. Besides that, the creatures are all heavily modified, making for some truly fascinating combat moments.

Thanks, the lighting is one of my favorite parts too, it brings everything to life.
Horizon FW is definitely amazing, one of the most underrated games out there. I'll never forget the surprise when you find Beta, that mission was a real eye opener. You definitely have some excellent screenshots here, the one of Aloy sitting by the campfire is the best, hands down.
Horizon FW really shines in moments like those, both visually and story-wise. That Beta reveal was such a mind-blowing moment for me too.
