2022 was great, 2023 will be even better!

What a year it was for me... I can't even cope with all the amazing things that happened to me in 2022. It was somehow a life changer for me... at many levels. Personally, Professionally, Family wise, even dreaming-reality-wise... Just too much to compile in a little post like this one, but I had to share my joy!

One last 🍀 thing before we go...

I have been trying to finally convince my father to learn/use #HIVE 😜, and the last few days have been very interesting (I had an attempt some years ago, but I failed completely). He's not into the "social" part of all this, so hence the difficulty back then, but I think now I managed to light some 🔥 fire around HIVE-Engine, tokens, pools and the financial aspect of everything in the overall picture. 😎 Being a witness also helped...

Let's see where I end up... convincing/teaching a friend or a colleague is very different, from teaching YOUR FATHER! Either way, it has been entertaining to see what challenges of explaining things to him can help me out see other people's difficulties in understanding HIVE.

And let me also say that most of my focus in this "one more go" attempt is mainly to clarify the benefits of blockchain technology for me and their grandchildren within a proven worldwide exposed experiment that is maturing towards a new Era of a technology revolution. A place that any age can contribute, be a part of and enjoy the benefits of proper decentralization.

People need to take their minds into the most positive ways they can... human race has too much good things to be ignored. We have good and bad times, but if we can help everyone, I think that will be with the good times.

Keep !ALIVE and maybe if you enjoy, make a !BEER like I am doing (more into that somewhere after the new year). Sometimes being !ALIVE just takes a few seconds... of thinking about what is important. 💓

=P for now, I am just going to attempt the usual rabbit hole of showing how to use the economics grounds of HIVE-Engine (pools, tokens etc), because that's what he seems more attracted to. Don't think he's going to post for now, but let's see after some more time.

Another thing that I am getting with this hole thing of "onboarding" people, is that is quite more easier to "at least" have something that someone likes to explain on HIVE than on ANY other blockchain. But then if people don't want to deal with "keys" complexity it becomes harder. So, that part is the most important part to get super top notch.

It's getting there, lots of people are putting a lot of effort on that front for several years, and with more and more testing/users, it will keep improving. I am supper pumped on just that front.

Gotta tell you... 2022 was frikkin amazing for me!!

A few great things happened in my life and on top of that I jumped back on Hive... If I was able to get back on board earlier in 2022 I would have probably made my goals that I set for myself... But bygones are bygones!

I know a lot of people that would say that too (including myself). But yep, that's life, and to be here is just phenomenal. No rush, learn as you go, win, learn again, have fun, collaborate, chat, I mean... its endless after some initial "need" to learn your ways around. But then it's like the best spent time towards the world of fun.

You probably know much of that already if you are a biker... 😁

Needs to be on the HPUD day (in UTC format... so, from 00h to 24h UTC of 1st of Jan 2023 for this one) and the special word (that activates one's participation)... and the 10 HP stake at least, with no power down... not sure what you mean about cut off. Anyone that becomes eligible will be entering the draw for the 3 delegation winners (and all eligible participants get ATX with 100% chance, no draw there). In this one, I am doing 3 extra NFTs for the 3 delegation winners, but that's not "usual" (just this time to commemorate the year).

I do this every HPUD (for the time being).

Gosh! I hope you acclimatise well. Is it just crazy weather that's uncharacteristic for Welly or is it that your body still thinks you're in Europe?? 😂

If it's any help I have found that the things that help me acclimatise well whenever I move/travel to really hot places (which I've done several times now) are:

  • drink lots of water, and
  • avoid air conditioning (sleeping with a fan if necessary)

Mostly slow pigmentation on my skin, I usually take quite a few weeks until I don't get burned even with SPF 50+. So while I don't get to that level of pigmentation, it involves strategically using the shade during long track days or when driving for hours on the road, using some sort of cover for the arm that is exposed.

I think today was a good one... we did this one: https://goo.gl/maps/Lz3KzDj7Wf7UzHoR7 (was my first time 😍) - Amazing views... probably even more spectacular at sunsets.

Teaching can't be forced, and some go faster than others. The important part is to learn the important stuff first, and the go progressively towards being auto-sustainable, where you can start learning by yourself.
