Splinterlands Art Contest 339 - ASTRAL ENTITY FANART DRAWING [ENG-ESP]

Hello alien friends and Splinterlands fans, I hope you are doing well. For this week's contest 339, I want to share with you my fan art. I have chosen the Astral Entity card. I really like this card because it looks like a kind of god of the universe, which can reach any corner of space. The fact that it is an entity makes it very powerful. For this fan art, I made it as a female subject. You can notice by the shape of her lips and eyes that she has 3 faces. This is to symbolize that she sees and knows everything, just like a god. I made it with simple shapes but full of color, using colored wax pencils and also alcohol-based markers. I hope you like it.

Hola amigos aliens y fans de Splinterlands espero que se encuentren muy bien para el concurso 339 de esta semana quiero compartir con ustedes mi fan art. He elegido la carta Astral Entity, me gusta mucho esta carta porque parece una especie de dios del universo, el cual puede alcanzar cualquier rincón del espacio, el hecho de que sea una entidad lo hace muy poderoso. Para este fan art lo he realizado como sujeto femenino, lo pueden notar por la forma de sus labios y ojos que tiene 3 rostros, esto para simbolizar que todo lo ve y todo lo sabe, así como un dios. Lo hice con formas simples pero lleno de mucho color, utilizando para ello lápices de colores e cera y también marcadores a base de alcohol, espero que les guste.

I used white cardstock for the drawing since I'd also be using a lot of colors; I wanted my fan art to have a somewhat psychedelic style. So, I made the sketches of the faces with a pencil. As you can see, I only used circular lines—nothing fancy—so you can see how we can make great things out of something simple.

Utilicé una cartulina de color blanco para el dibujo ya que usaría también muchos colores, quería mi fan art en un estilo un tanto psicodélico. Así que con lápiz hice los bocetos de los rostros, como pueden ver solo use líneas circulares, nada del otro mundo para que observen como de algo sencillo podemos hacer cosas grandiosas.

As I mentioned before, for this fan art I used Prismacolor school colored pencils, which are very good and have beautiful tones. So I start by painting the main face, starting with the nose. The tones used vary from cool to warm, trying to highlight each important part of the face and highlight its features.

Como mencioné antes, para este fan art utilizo lápices de colores Prismacolor escolares, que son muy buenos y tienen tonos muy hermosos. Así que comienzo pintando el rostro principal comenzando por la nariz, los tonos a utilizar varían desde los colores fríos hasta los cálidos tratando de tener cada uno una parte importante del rostro resaltado sus características.

Little by little, by playing with colors and their position within the face, the psychedelic style takes shape. The character's original card, being a stellar entity, has the colors of the galaxy, so in some ways the colors I'm using are cleaner versions separated only by the stripes.

Poco a poco al ir jugando colos colores y su posición dentro del rostro, el estilo psicodélico va cobrando forma. La carta original del personate, al ser un ente estral este tiene los colores e la galaxia, así que de alguna manera los colores que voy utilizando son versiones más limpias solo separadas por las rayas.

Here you can see how the first face is finished. This will serve as a guide for the rest, ensuring that the colors are in a sequence, so the drawing doesn't take a different path.

Aquí pueden ver como queda finalizado el primero rostro, este me servirá de guía para hacer el resto y llevar una sencuencia en cuanto a los colores y el dibujo no tome otro camino diferentes.

Next, I continued with the other faces until I covered the entire area with color. One thing I did after finishing the painting was outline all the lines inside and outside the face with a black marker. This made the face even more voluminous and made it look better.

Seguidamente continué con los otros rostros hasta cubrir toda la zona con color. Algo que hcie al finalizar de pintar fue delinear todas las líneas dentro y fuera dle rostro con un marcador negro, esto hizo que el volumen tomar aun poco más de volumen y luciera mejor.

To finish, I added a background with the colors used, I repainted it again step by step so that the drawing had the most vivid colors and that's how it was finished.

Para finalizar agregué un fondo con los colores utilizados, volví a pintar nuevamente paso a paso para que el dibujo quedara con los colroe smás vivos y así quedó terminado.

What did you think of the result? I liked the psychedelic color scheme, but looking closely, it also reminds me of the stained-glass windows in Catholic cathedrals. I like that style because I was able to achieve my goal of creating an almost divine being. I hope you like it. Don't forget to comment what you think. Qué les ha parecido el resultado? a mi me gustó el estilo de colores piscodélicos, pero observanmdolo bien también me recuerda a los vitrales de las catedrales católicas, por lo que me gusta ese estilo ya que entonces el objetivo de hacer un ser casi divino lo pude lograr.
