Hello dear friends, I hope you are feeling very, very well, I am very active with drawings and illustrations and that is why I come here to participate in the 330th Splinterlands contest. On this occasion it is an old acquaintance whom I choose to draw, the Vampire Bat card, I have made it a bit scary trying to give it realism with the lines with colored pencils. I have also made a short video so you can see in motion how I perform my technique, I hope you like it.

Hola queridos amigos, espero que se encuentren muy muy bien, estoy muy activo con los dibujos e ilustraciones y es por eso que vengo por aquí a participar en el concurso número 330 de Splinterlands. En esta ocasión es un viejo conocido a quien elijo para dibujar, la carta Vampire Bat, lo he realizado un poco bien aterrador tratando de darle realismo con los trazos con los lápices de colores. También he realizado un video corto para que puedan apreciar en movimiento de como realizo mi técnica, espero que les guste.

I had some watercolor cardboard saved, it was a little stained so I cleaned it and prepared it to make this drawing, since I really like how it looks on this type of material. It works for both watercolor and drawing pencils, the surface is very good. On it I drew the silhouette with a very light drawing pencil and then painted part by part.

Tenía guardada una cartulina para acuarela, estaba un poco manchada así que la limpié y la preparé para hacer este dibujo, ya que me gusta mucho como se ve en este tipo de material. sirve tanto para acuarela como para lápices de dibujo, la superficie es muy buena. Sobre ella dibujé la silueta con lápiz de dibujo muy claro para luego ir pintando parte por parte.

I started painting the ears and part of the head, especially the entire eye area, I wanted to do it with a very deep look. Doesn't it look a bit like gremlins?

Comencé pintando las orejas y en parte la cabeza, especialmente toda la zona de los ojos, quería hacerlo con una mirada muy profunda. No se parece un poco a los gremlins?

Apart from the use of colors, I also used an ultra fine marker to outline the limits of the drawing. Little by little he was giving shape to his face, he was looking like a vampire from a horror movie.

A parte del uso de colores, también utilicé un marcador ultra fina para delinear los límites del dibujo. Poco a poco le iba dando forma al rostro, iba quedando como un vampiro de película de terror.

Then, with the same drawing technique I make and paint the other parts of the body. For example the legs with many claws and also the wings with their divisions. I tried to give this whole part a very scary touch.

Luego, con la misma técnica de dibujo voy haciendo y pintando las otras partes del cuerpo. Por ejemplo las piernas con muchas garras y también las alas con sus divisiones. Toda esta parte traté de darle un toque muy aterrador.

Then paint the wings, which are made of a faithful layer of flesh that becomes translucent with the action of light. So I painted it with light warm colors, little by little the entire wing area and it made a good contrast with the back of the body.

Después pinte las alas, las cuales son de una fiel capa de carne que con acción de la luz se vuelve translúcida. De manera que la pinté con colores cálidos claros, poco a poco toda la zona de las alas y hacía un buen contraste con el resto del cuerpo.

To finish, I did two steps, the first of which was to blend all the colors used with a soft brush and mineral oil, this allows the colors to mix better on the paper and allows more layers of colors to be added, which leads to obtaining a good volume. in the drawing. The other step was to outline the entire drawing with the fine tip marker and that's how the illustration looked.

Para finalizar hice dos pasos, el primero de ellos fue difuminar todos los colores utilizados con un pincel suave y aceite mineral, esto permite que los colores se mezclen mejor en el papel y permite poner más capas de colores lo que lleva a obtener un buen volumen en el dibujo. El otro paso fue delinear todo el dibujo con el marcador punta fina y de esa forma quedó la ilustración.
