The Season is Over, The Grind Resumes: Wild Pass purchased and next is Card Rentals
Hello Splinterlands and Hive Fam!
I hope that life is treating you well wherever you are in this part of the world. The weekend is also.
My Splinterlands Game account is - FinPulse9.
The Splinterlands season is over now, and it is obviously the time to collect the reward, and I am very happy that I made it to the Champion 3 League on the last day of the season, which is why I got a very good reward of Glint Tokens.
Generally my reward stays between the range of 100K but this time it is 131K which is very good and it is kind of that my reward is increased by 30% which is nice and I always say that reward is something which is secondary and it keeps on changing every season to season so it is good but not everything because the battle experience the overall gaming experience also matters.
Now because the new season is started so couple of things I need to do so that I can get started in the new season and the first activity is to buy the Wild Pass that cost $2 so I have done that and because of that now I am eligible to play the battles in the Wild format and you can see that currently I am in the Diamond Three League. The next thing I'll be doing is to take the cards on rent because that is also very important for me, since I rely mostly on the rented cards, so I'll get this done today or maybe tomorrow, because it takes some time, but it is also important.
I see some changes on the UI on the main page because now I need to look for other options in the shop to check my glint balance, and I hope this change is good, but now I need to get familiar with the change. However, it's fine because it is a game, and these types of changes are obviously expected.
Renting is an important part in my gameplay which I'll be doing today because I don't want to spend too much time but still it takes about one to two hours since I need to take all the card that I play with every season and the reason why I want to do it as early as possible the season is already started and I don't want to lose the time which can go in my favour to increase the league and win some battles. I already have credits in my account, which I think should be enough to take cards and pay for the rental charges, but if needed, I can buy more credits since I have HBD, which are generally used to convert into credits and use those credits to pay for their rental charges.
I'm also thinking of playing in other segments of the game, which is called Frontier. I played it a few weeks back, and it was fun to play, but after that, I did not play, so maybe over this weekend, I will try to play some battle on the frontier side to see how it works now, because I'm sure things would have been improved, and when I played it was just launched. This is indeed a great option for the new players in the game, where they can play the game without investing, which can give them a real flavor of the game, and later on, they can choose to play in another league, which obviously will give them an even better experience of this fabulous Web 3 game.

For now, my strategy is just to get the rental done as soon as possible in my account and get started on the battle with Full swing. Once that is done, then I will think about any specific strategy in the current season and how I want to continue further in the game, and which league are the ratings I would like to achieve. Thank you!
