Staked 20k SPS in Splinterlands & Game Progress in Current Season

Earlier in my post I talked about my SPS buying process. Some amazing people suggested that there is another easy way to buy SPS coins. This is through internal market in hive-engine. I checked this option and its surely easy to use. But still its not for me and I have reason for this. The reason why it is not for me because I do not have hive tokens with me. I know that with hive the buying is very easy in this internal marketplace.

Now if I need to buy sps then either I buy hive from the exchange and move it to the internal wallet. Thereafter I would be able to buy SPS coins using the hive. Maybe later I can think about buying this way but this time I thought why not buy directly from the exchange. I was thinking that the transfer from exchange to the game account will be like one wallet to another. In a way it is same but a different process is followed. Buying was the same as I purchased the sps coin in exchnage. I did withdrawal of those coins into the wallet on BSC chain. Till here I was clear that it is done and I'll be following the same so the balance should be available in the game account. Now there is a catch that I need to move these coins to the game account and for that purpose there is a bridge. This bridge has some cost which is fine but because I was using the trust wallet so it was not working. I did not know that trust wallet is not compatible with the game. So I had a chat with @bravetofu and followed his advice to change wallet. The next option for me was to reach support team but before that it worked.

I changed the wallet and within a minute it was successful transaction. So now it is clear that the trust wallet is not good to use with a splinterlands and I will never do it again in future. I will buy more tokens this way because still I do not have hive available with me. But at least now I am aware that what are the steps I need to follow to get the transfer done and available in the game account. I think it's not good to transfer small amount and it should not be less than 10,000 coins I believe. This is what I'm saying because of the transaction fee and when you transfer a bigger amount then probably this fee is justified but with small amount it is not.

I Staked all SPS tokens

So all the tokens I had in my wallet are staked now. This is a process through which we log the tokens in the game and it is called staking. This is a newer because I think it was called a lock in but maybe in this web three world different terminologies are used. So all the tokens are logged and there is an APR of more than 11% which I think is good amount. Maybe in future I'll be able to grow my holding even more because I'm on it and I will continue to buy more tokens as and when it is possible for me.

SPS Delegation received

I have also got 65k SPS delegation. I know that this delegation will not stay with me for too long but till the time it is here I am trying to utilise it in the game.

Community and Mentor Support is Essential

I have to mention that I have been getting a royal treatment by the community since the day I have joined this game and this support has made my journey superb. I got to learn many things and still there is a lot when I am blank so I reach out to my mentor @bravetofu for help. He knows everything about the game because so far everything that I have asked he has the answer and that is what makes me his fan. I believe that mentorship is very important and it helps a lot to make this journey smooth and fun and I can say this because this is what I have been going through since my beginning with this beautiful game.

In-Game Progress

So I'm very happy to share that I have unlocked Diamond League. I see people struggling in gold or even Silver League but for me this is possible because I have high level powerful cards. I have got those cards from my mentor and it is very helpful. I have also made it 30 streak which is a big count but again this is possible just because of the powerful cards. Now it will not be fun for me to play with basic level cards so I will try to go for the rental which I have already tried. Hope I'll be able to accumulate some tokens that I can pay for the rental charges and I know the place from where I can take the cards on rent.

I have spent all my glint rewards accumulated so far. I will be getting some glint after the season end which is like after three days from now. I also earn glean tokens with each winning battle and currently my energy count is 47. I try to play about 20 battles in a day so now its time for me to play some more battles and bring in the error down to 35 or 30 possibly. Lets see how much glint I am able to earn this way but whatever it is will be used to buy more cards from the reward shop.

I'm already in the Diamond League so I'll make sure that I don't drop this league. The sps balance is good enough including the delegated amount to give me a good reward hopefully. This is the first season for me so I don't know how much reward I will receive but I'm excited to see what is it going to be. I will use the remaining time left in the game to play more battles and earn reward whereas increasing the league is not the goal for this season anymore.
