Splinterlands Wild Journey: Celebrating Season End Rewards and New Beginnings

The season for the splinterlands game is ended today and another season is also started just after that. I have already discussed in my earlier blogs that this season I am playing in the world format and I will see what reward I get and I will also do the comparison but not now because for the comparison I will require more time so probably in the next blog I will explain more about the rewards comparison.

For now I'm happy to say that I have got a reward of 78901 glint for end of season along with 25000 Glint as part of leaderboard. This is the first ever I have made myself to have a slot in the leaderboard and I can't tell you how happy I am because in the modern it never happened. So in a total I have got over 100K glint which I think is a great amount and even if I do the comparison later I don't think that the difference is going to be huge in terms of the season end reward.

So overall couple of things that have happened with me for the first time in the game and I'm very happy to share about those. First of all I am able to unlock the champion 3 league for the first time in last four months and this is a big achievement for me for which I am very happy about. The second achievement is that I have got a slot in the leaderboard for the first time which has never happened for me in this game in last 4 months and this also makes me very happy because I know it's not easy and especially in the modern it's very difficult for player to achieve. On top of that getting a reward for the data board is another way reward which I consider as a bonus and it also makes me very happy to have it and this reward is rewarded automatically once the season ends so there is no option to claim it. So as a whole I can say that my experiment in the wild format of the game has been great and it is a good decision that I have taken so obviously in the next season I am going to play in the same format of the game.

The new season is on and because I am going to play in the wild format so I will have to purchase the wild pass which cost two dollars and I can pay this charge using the credit or the dec token. Now there is another part which I want to mention here that I need to take the cards on rent again because the rental duration is just for the season and because the season is over already so all these rented cards are gone from my account. Obviously I'll be taking the wild pass but before that I'll prefer to take cards on the rent because even if I buy the pass now it will not make any sense since I will not have any cards to play so better to wait for some time and get the renting done first before I go for buying the wild pass to make me eligible for playing battle in this format.

Now I have got a balance of over 200K glint tokens. I believe that this is a great amount and through this I'll be able to buy some good stuff in the rewards shop which I'll be doing over the weekend but not today for sure because first I will prefer spending some time on the cards rental then getting started on the battleground. This is the part that I can do later also because glint token never expire and I can plan whenever I want depending upon when my schedule allows and of course things are not going to be changed in a day or two.

I'm very happy that this is the first time I have achieved the champion 3 league so now I am part of the Diamond League and I can start playing once I have the cards available from the rental market and then hoping that I should be in a better place to unlock the Champion League in next few days. Now because the gap is not big and it is also because I am already in the diamond leak so from the diamond to champion the gap is not high but when I end the season in diamond then I am left in the gold. Because of this logic I find champion is pretty much easy for me to achieve in next few days but obviously I cannot say how things are going to be in the game because obviously I'll be facing the competition on the battleground while playing the battles.

That is on for the today and now it's time for me to spend a few hours to get all those rented cards. I do not like this change to be honest personally. The change I'm talking about is the limiting rental duration because I remember in the beginning there was an option to choose the number of days and it was very convenient. Now that option does not exist anymore and whatever card you take on the rent will last only till the end of the season and that takes a lot of time to get this card management done. But again this is what it is and I just cant help it so I will have to get familiar with the change and plan my strategy accordingly in the game so hopefully today or maybe Max by tomorrow I'll get my card renting part completed for the season.
