Last Splinterlands Season over New Season is On: Rentals & Wild Pass Purchased!

The Splinterlands game has a cycle where, currently, a new season is starting, and the last one has already ended. This means that once the current season concludes, a new one begins. There are a couple of things to be done in the new season, especially if you are dependent on the rental market. However, if you own enough cards, then renting is not relevant for you. But still, you might have to set up a strategy in the season and plan which league you want to unlock. To unlock that league, you need to play some battles and increase your rating, and with an increase in the rating, you will continue to level up your leagues in the season, and by the time that season ends, your latest league is considered for the reward distribution. This is the cycle of the game, and it continues to happen.

The last season is over, and I have received this reward, which is 100K glint tokens distributed to me as part of the end-of-season reward. Now in the new season couple of things I need to perform, and the primary task is to get the renewal done. I take the majority of the cars from the rental market, so today I have done the renewal for those cards so that I can continue to play in the current season, and it is very important for me.

Before I do this, I also need to buy the Wild Pass, and for that, I need to pay $2 because that is another mandatory requirement for me, and without buying the pass, I cannot play the battle in this format of the game in any season. This pass is valued for the current ongoing season, so like I have purchased the wild pass in the current season, it will be valid till the end of this season only, and for the new one, I will have to buy it again.

This season will be ending in slightly more than 13 days from now, and we can consider this time period as two weeks. This time is good enough to play enough number of battles and achieve the desired league and right now I am playing in that gold one league so I need to play more battles 1st to move forward with gold and enter in the diamond and thereafter I can play more battle to enter in the diamond one or maybe champion if that happens but in the last season this was not happened. the last season I ended up in the Diamond One league and that is where I got 100K tokens as part of the end of season reward and this could have been more if the seizure was ended in champion like in the last season I got about 125K tokens for season end rewards.

Now I have also done the renewal for the rental cards, and this time I tried to do it early so that there is no loss on the game, and I can play more battles because losing a couple of days in the season affects the rating. This season I also have the plan to buy some energies if needed because I will try to play more battles in the beginning of the season when I am on the lower league And this is where buying energies can be a sensible strategy because if I try to buy when I'm on the higher league the cost of energies is going to be high and this is the reason why I don't find it a good strategy.
