I bought 20k SPS Tokens. My first tokens investment in Splinterlands

Splinterlands is the first ever blockchain or crypto game that I play. I have already shared about my gaming journey on this platform and even the traditional games I have played. Let me tell you that I'm so fascinated about this game and I also know that there is a lot that I still don't know. I'm trying to figure out more about the game and I understand very well that it is a long-term process. But at the same time, I also understood that I needed to have some assets in my game account to make my experience better.

I have started taking cards on the rent to improve my card collection. My mentor @bravetofu is very helpful and is helping me to understand different parts of the game. I have gone through the token economy for SPS and found that this token is available at its bottom already. I also discussed with my mentor about this token and was surprised that he is holding such a big quantity. I also checked the holding of this token in the entire project and there are a lot of people holding token quantity in millions. It shows that the community is so strong and this is one of the reasons why the splinterland project can survive even in the bear market.

I know that the easiest option to buy SPS is from the internal market which is the hive engine. But it's not for me because I do not hold hive or HBD. If I want to use the internal market then I need to have the base currency which is hive and that also I need to buy from the market. So to make this process easy I thought of using another exchange where this token is listed and I thought of using the Mexican exchange. I placed a buying order for 20,000 tokens on the market price because I don't expect any big fluctuation in the price for now. The order was filled and now the next action for me is to move these tokens into the splinterlands game account.

I have gone through some tutorials and understood that this can be done using the Binance smart chain wallet. So I linked my trust wallet address to my game account and moved the tokens from the exchange account to the wallet.

There will be some fees involved because I'm using this centralised exchange and there are charges for your transaction. The withdrawal was successful to the BSC wallet that I linked in my game account.

There is an option in the game account to link external wallets which you can see on the below image and I used it to link the trust wallet address.

Because this withdrawal was successful I can see the token balance reflected in the game account also. I tried to stake these tokens but it was not working and later I realised that I needed to move these tokens from the wallet to the game account.

Now I need to follow the below steps to get this done then only I will be able to take sps tokens in my game account? All these options are provided on the page and I think it's kind of self-explanatory but if you go through some tutorials it makes it even easier.

On the next page, you can see all the details provided where the transfer is going to take place and there is some fee involved which is called a bridge fee.

I tried following all these steps but now I am stuck. Whenever I click on the restart transfer it does not work and throws an error that connects the wallet. It means my wallet is not connecting to this game probably because I'm really not sure but despite trying a few times it is still not working. Although I can see the balance reflected in my trust wallet I don't think there is any problem with my wallet.

It's like half of the job is done where I was able to purchase a token and move it to the wallet and the balance is also reflected there. But the remaining activity for me is to move those tokens into the game account and stake. But I'm not able to do this which could be because of some ongoing error on this bridge. I don't know what could be the solution to this problem so I will be discussing this with my mentor if he can help and if not then I will be reaching out to the splinterlands support team to help me here.
