Introduction
Greetings Fellas,
I'm very excited to share my idea about The Earth summoner, Scarred Llama Mage. In this post I will write about :
- Scarred Llama Mage stats and skills
- Why Llama is unbeatable in small mana battle (along with match analysis)
- What kind of monsters used often with Llama
Alright guys, let's get started!
Stats and Skills
Stats
Scarred Llama Mage is belong to the legendary summoner so her maximum level is 4, where Lv.1 can only summon Lv.1 legendary, Lv2 of Llama can summon Lv.2 legendary and so forth until Lv.4. More detail info is shown in the above picture.
Skills
Llama gives 2 abilities and 1 stats that really helps the army to win the match.
+2 Health
This additional stats is very important in some rulesets like poison, earthquake, and blast since it will make your army stays alive longer than your opponent and then finally win the battle. If you have monster with self healing ability like Kron the Undying or Flesh Golem, the additional stats will make them become more immortal. Along with Llama who gives last stand ability, additional 2 health will make monster stats much higher after being multiplied by 1.5.
Last Stand
This ability is pretty amazing. If your monster is the only monster left, he will gain increased stats (the original stats multiplied by 1.5 and rounded up). This will make your monster way stronger and kill the enemy team easily. In small mana battle, not many monsters on the battlefield so your opponent will find difficulties to counter monster with last stand ability.
Cleanse
Cleanse helps to removes all negative effects on the Monster in the first position on the friendly team. This skill is very useful in high rating silver, gold and above since at those kind of levels, there are many de-buff given to the monsters. The ability will make monsters keep as its original status and even stronger through buff applied to him.
Why Llama is unbeatable in small mana battle
In this section, I would like to show you how strong Llama line up in small battle. Thing to note that I am not the side who used Llama, my opponent was. Let's discuss the match together. Here is the battle link where I have been defeated by Llama in small mana battle :

Mana and Rulesets

Match Preview
Round 1
In the 1st match, only several monsters can launch their attack, since the main monster of both team are melee monsters and they are not in the 1st position. The purpose of halfling alchemist is to give halving effect but unfortunately the opponent set Llama and the main monster is not in the 1st position either so the attack is not really effective.
Round 2
In the 2nd round, Mylor team lost many armies since their health points are equal or less than 2 and the main monster of Mylor team (Flesh Golem) is coming into the 1st position. His task is to kill all the enemies before he faces the legendary monster, Hydra. In other side Xenith Monk is still alright since he has the healing ability like Hydra and Flesh Golem.
Round 3
Flesh Golem has successfully killed Furious chicken and Fungus Fiend due to his 3 melee attack and Thorn ability given by Mylor.
Round 4
Epona was killed since she does not has the self healing ability but Hydra itself is strong enough to take down the Mylor army. Since hydra is the only monster left, he activates Last stand ability, which increased his attack and speed to be 5 and 6 respectively. He also got cleanse by Llama as he stays in the 1st position. Llama is very appropriate summoner for the Noxious Fumes rule set.
Round 5
This round shows us how the Llama set up in small mana battle is unbeatable. Only 3 monsters in the battlefield and Mylor army has no power to match Hydra power after getting last stand ability from Llama. Flesh Golem was falling down and Xenith goes forward.
Round 6
Since Xenith is weaker than Flesh Golem, he is going down as well. The match is over. Llama wins.
What kind of monsters used often with Llama
1. Flesh Golem
Let's start our discussion with the lowest rarity monster. The first one is the Flesh Golem who is belong to common earth monster. This card is frequently used started from 13 mana cost. So if you saw the opponent last battle was using Llama and the mana is 13 you need to be careful and anticipate if the your opponent is going to use the combination of Llama and Flesh Golem. The reason why this card is being used is because Flesh Golem has self healing ability which makes him "immortal". At Lv.5 he has very high health point (10), 3 melee attack and 3 speed which makes him one of the best earth tank in Rise of the commons Rule Sets.
2. Grund
The second monster is Grund who is belong to the epic monster of Chaos legion edition. This card is used started from 17 mana cost since Grund mana is 10, the same as Kron the undying but Grund is the only choice if the rule sets was lost magic or Lost Legendaries. The reason why this card is used several times by Splinterlands players is because he has 4 melee attack in Lv.3, along with his ability (Double Strike), It will become 8 melee attack in just 1 turn. Very deadly attack. He also has 11 health point and 3 speed which makes him great enough as a tank or the last monster left in the army to get last stand ability.
3. Kron The Undying
The third monster is Kron the Undying who is belong to the Legendary monster of untamed edition. The combination of Kron along with Llama was the favorite in the "untamed age" (when there is no chaos legion yet). Many people try to figure out how to counter such very deadful combo. in small mana (17) this card is difficult to defeat (but still possible). The reason why Kron and Llama combo was feared by many players is because Kron has 2 magic attack, self healing ability and last stand ability. His stats is also very great (11 health point) in Lv.2. In more than 20 mana battle this combo is easy to beat, the way is to put tank who has Void attack and then put as many tank healer as possible and very high attack monster like Mitica Headhunter or Beatrix Ironhand. I have beaten them combo many times this way 😜.
4. Hydra
The last monster is Hydra, the neutral legendary monster from beta edition. This card is used started from 17 mana cost since Hydra mana is 10. The reason why this monster is frequently used along with Llama is because this monster has the self Healing ability. Hydra at Lv.2 has Thorn skill which makes him very dangerous for melee monster. His 4 speed makes him attack early compared to other monsters in the battlefield. His stats is awesome as he has 8 health point and 3 melee attack which makes him feared by many Splinterlands players.
