Staying focus to your resolutions for the year

Finally, we made it into 2022 and we are grateful for all that we have had so far. I woke up this morning only to find out a mate of mine has lost his brother within just some few hours to usher in the new year. Just to add up, I also saw someone by name serlom on my twitter feed posted that he has lost his dad too. So if you are still holding up with life, breathing freely and tasting all the good stuffs you want then you should be happy.

I know as usual many went in yesterday with a lot of new year resolutions, only to forget all that they had in mind and going back to the old stuffs they wanted to improve upon or stop doing. Most people do fail to jot down all their resolutions, thinking they always have them at the back of their heads. Little do they tend to forget the actual plan they had for themselves.

As I closed from church around 1am today and was heading home with some friends, we saw this incident which many laughed over it but to me was a serious thing to see someone do at that moment of the day. As we walked and chatted with each other we suddenly saw this young lady who was trying to make a run but the process wasn’t coming.

At first I thought she had had an injure in her legs to cause that, only to get closer for us to notice, she had no injure in her legs but she was rather on alcohol and was had being so drank that she couldn’t even make a run. In as much as I hate judging people at first glance, I felt pity for her and wondered what was really the problem for her to get this dose on alcohol. The rest of the people I was with was only making fun of her as we move.

As we have entered this new year with a new day, I will edge each and everyone to stay focused in every new year’s resolution(s) you made and if you have much in your head just as I have then you find somewhere that is safe for you to write them. So that you keep remaining yourself each time you flip through those pages. With time I know, you will add up with how you intended on achieving them.

Never follow the mass at all times but the little you cherish and act well with would make you greater than you think.
