My day on a boxing day

Still in the festive season, we are in the boxing day, and anytime this day comes it reminds me of a little boy who asked his mom why the day is called boxing day and on this day people do not stand in rings to box each other around. I could only have to hide my laughs after I heard this little one as such a question. His mom only said to him the boxing is not for hitting each other like he thought but it is for eating and enjoying plenty foods around with each other.

My day so far have being a normal Sunday for me, with me visiting chapel as my morning routine and was fortunate to meet this mate of my who was visiting one of my superiors and asked I accompany him. So since it was too early to meet her we went to catch up some fun by watching a football match between two local divisional teams.

I am not a football fan but had to follow this mate since I even brought the decision for us to watch some before we get to where we were to go. For the start I thought it as not being serious with it so he can let go of it. He turned out to like the idea even more than I do and so I had to enter the stadium to catch up the fun with the two divisional teams.

After I like 15 minutes into the game, I really wished we never entered the stadium, because of the noise and anger people were gearing towards the players on the field. I felt like damaging my ears since I had to catch up plenty different sounds at a go. It has being really long time ever since I went to watch football with noise around. Almost each player on the field had his share of the anger from the supporters.

But in all, the home team managed to take the day by winning by a lone goal to null. Yet some supporters were not pleased with the scores and they were almost on the verge to beat the players. I had to rush out from the stadium and never paid much attention to anything that would happen again. On our way to visit our Boss lady, we made a stop at a shop to surprise her with some wines and champagnes.

We finally got to her house with a welcome and we officially wished her a merry Christmas, together with our presents. She was pleased and we had some fun at her place with the kids around. In no time we had to move since our agendas were many. I got home then straight to draft my post to push the publish button.
