Botz nft creation process (art direction).

Greetings dear friends of the community I hope you are excellent, today I bring you a post that deals with the process of creating the BOTZ, perhaps some have heard of this NFT collectibles project and for those who do not, I invite you to enter www.botznft.io to learn more about it.

In the middle of last year @MantaNFT (on twitter) known in the NFT world for collections and projects associated with the theme, contacted me mentioning me about the topic of creating a robotic character that had a lot of interchangeable pieces where randomly mixed to create tens of thousands of different and unique combinations, the challenge was ready, they had to be charismatic with a different personality between each one of them, pleasing to the eye and also had to have more than a dozen parts to interchange between each one so I started creating some sketches of what would be the basic anatomy of the BOT until I hit the nail on the head, for my taste I had great artistic freedom when thinking about the ideal form for these characters.

A mediados del pasado año @MantaNFT (en twitter) conocido en el mundo del NFT por colecciones y proyectos asociados al tema, se comunicó conmigo mencionándome sobre el tema de crear un personaje robótico que tuviese un montón de piezas intercambiables de donde al mezclarse aleatoriamente permitiera crear decenas de miles de combinaciones diferentes y únicas, el reto estaba listo, tenían que ser carismáticos con una personalidad diferente entre cada uno de ellos, agradables a la vista y además debían poseer mas de una docena de partes para intercambiar entre cada uno así que me puse en marcha creando algunos bocetos de lo que sería la anatomía básica del BOT hasta dar con el clavo, para mi gusto tuve gran libertad artística al momento de pensar en la forma ideal para estos personajes.

After choosing the favorite, the final shape was distributed in this way and was ready to start giving free rein to the ''pure'' designs from which the collection would be born, in total there would be 50 BOTZ with 14 interchangeable pieces between each one.

Luego de elegir al favorito, la forma final quedo distribuida de esta forma y ya estaba listo para empezar a darle rienda suelta a los diseños ''puros'' de donde la colección naceria, en total serian 50 BOTZ con 14 piezas intercambiables entre cada uno.

I started modeling the first BOTZ, as I said at the beginning, I had a lot of artistic freedom and the best ideas that came to my mind were captured in these metallic characters that would suffer certain changes in their features during the process.

Empecé a modelar los primeros BOTZ, como dije al principio, tuve mucha libertad artística y las mejores ideas que venían a mi mente eran plasmadas en estos metálicos personajes que sufrirían ciertos cambios en sus rasgos durante el proceso.

As the project progressed, more BOTZs were being created, and by the end of 2021 the 50 pure BOTZs had been created and were now in the hands of the programming team to randomly generate the combinations between them and choose who would be part of the 10,000 that will be on the market.

Conforme el proyecto avanzaba mas BOTZ iban siendo creados, ya para finales del 2021 se habían creado los 50 BOTZ puros y ahora pasaban a manos del equipo de programación para generar aleatoriamente las combinaciones entre ellos y elegir quienes formarían parte de los 10.000 que estarán en el mercado.

At the same time that I was working on the BOTZ I was creating the design of the website as well as other related images where the project would look and evolve adding in the future new things that appear in their RoadMap to make the interaction with them even deeper.

Al mismo tiempo que trabajaba en los BOTZ estaba creando el diseño de la pagina web además de otras imagenes relacionadas donde el proyecto se vería y evolucionaria añadiendo a futuro nuevas cosas que aparecen en su RoadMap para volver aún mas profunda la interacción con ellos.
