For a very long time I have fantasized about the Giant Roc, a supernatural bird that has the semblance of an eagle and is large enough to carry elephants with ease. You see this bird was what led to my post three days ago of an eagle who caught a fish. Even in that post I mentioned that my brother Daniel drew it some time back. This is one of the few reasons I considered making this piece and believe me, it is an achievement I won’t soon forget.

I paid great attention to the detail in the background as I have oftentimes managed to do some outstanding work that look amateurish because of the background in time past. Another issue I faced while doing this and the art piece in its entirety is the size. Because of the size of the art piece (which was larger than usual) the brush couldn’t move freely and neither could I properly blur or blend effects. As a result, I resorted to lighter brushes with the hope that their even temper would be effective and to a large extent, it was.

I owe this wonderful art piece to Danny Dooley and Clement who shared components of this art on their pages on Pinterest.

That means the Giant Roc is so big, if it can carry an elephant, and you are very right bro, as the elephant in the art is not a match to it size. Regard.
