Greetings to all my fellow players around the world and to Splinterlands. Todays Social Media Challenge is all about the Bloodline Dominion.

A lot of players might already know about this ability, but believe me when I say that I just understand it today. Since the transition of new modern, this is the first time I trully understand how it works. Its funny because I am a long time player and was not able to understand this😄. That is why I am sharing this especially to our new player out there.

BLOODLINE DOMINION

This ability of Archon is only available on Conclave Arcana Core Set. Now this allows us to summon any monster as long as it is in the same bloodline, regardless of its element. Let me give you an example.

The photo above shows the Bloodline of Ulund, as you can see the element is under Water and Life, now the Bloodline Dominion allows us to summon Ulund cards even if it is from other element. On top of that, the archons will grant a specific ability to each card with the same bloodline.

I wrote this post because my understanding is that I need to have a complete line up of the same bloodline for the archon to grant the specific ability. But I was wrong because even if my team has only two unit of Ulund and the rest is from diffirent bloodline, the Ulund Archon will still give Shield ability, but only to the Ulund unit.

In this battle I use the Life Element, I picked Bella Ratajowlski(Ulund Bloodline) as my Archon, but my team, as you can see has only two Ulund Unit, all the other unit are just random bloodline that I pick. As you can see the two Ulund Unit was granted with shield.

I just found out this earlier, maybe I am not that observing much of my battle or maybe the truth behind it, is I have a wrong understanding that is why I am not a fan of Blood Dominion. It just proves that there is always something to learn. And going forward expect that I will be using more of Bloodline Dominion ability.

Now realising how to use the Bloodline Dominion, I can level up my battle strategy. I hope you are too! Because this is why we play Splinterlands, to celebrate the victory from our best laid strategy.

Conclave Arcana brought us new ability that are not available from the old sets. It levels up the game a notch, and brings new excitement. Theres a lot of new abilities available now, new combo of cards, dual element summoner and unit, new meta. Splinterlands keeps on evolving that is why we are still here.
