Good day my fellow splinterlands player and tonsplinterland itself.

📝 What to Share:
Your favorite Splinterlands lineup and why it works

My favorite line up would be fire and death element because of lorkus. In this battle death is not available so fire is unit is the only option. My go to cards when using Lorkus is Bellowmancer, Gramel the Hunger, and Infernal Firestorm. As for the other cards I will find anything that I can squeeze in to fit in mana cap and also giving attention to the ruleset. In picture below I was able to put Chaos Golem at front as tank, and 2nd card Hodlor and Ashen Cindergrim.

A breakdown of each card’s role in the team

To breakdown the specific used of the cards.
My archon is Lorkus, ability +1 on melee attack and +1 magic damage. Then I choose Life Leech and Affliction to apply on my two units. Since Life element is available my enemy might use Heal for his team, I am countering it with Affliction if ever.

My 1st card as tank was Chaos Golem, this is for later on I can have a tank that can provide 1 or 2 rounds for my main card which is Infernal Firestorm and Gramel the Hunger absorving hp from each magic damage it throws to enemy. Plus the fact that it will have additional 1 melee damage from archons ability. This is a sacrifice card, a strategy to win the battle.

My 2nd card and 3rd card, Hodlor and Ashen Cindergrim, which I just found on my deck and just the exact 6 and 4 mana that I needed. Both cards are low Hp, but its okay I just needed it for few rounds to provide addtional damage because my main card as I mention above is Infernal Firestorm and Gramel the Hunger. Hodlor's ability is reach with 2 melee damage and 1 magic damage, reinforce by archons plus 1 melee and magic damage its not bad at all. While Ashen Cindergrim with 2 magic damage, again reinforce by archon with plus 1 magic damage. This 2 cards can provide damage, but unfortunately they are part of sacrifice cards. At 2nd and 3rd position they are safe as long as Bellowmancer is not yet kill. Opportunity attack from Olivia of Life Element is what I am avoiding here.

And the final 3 cards, that really bring this game to win are Infernal Firestorm, Gramel the Hunger, and Bellowmancer.
The 4th card is Infernal Firestorm, is like a tank itself, it has huge Hp and Armor, it can absorb damage. And the real strategy here is it will have a huge Hp as the round goes on along with Gramel the Hunger. Basically this 2 cards is the winning card that I needed to put safely at 4th and 5th position. All the other 4 cards are sacrifice only. This is the trump card. At the end game, I am expecting this 2 cards as the only left standing in battle. Infernal Firestorm will throw 3 magic damage while Gramel will have 2 range damage, 2 melee damage and 2 magic damage with the help of archons ability. Now Bellowmancer, tankish card with 8hp and 5 armor with 2 magic damage is also a key in this battle. It safeguards all the cards in between him and Chaos Golem on 1st position from opportunity, snipe and sneak attack because of its Taunt ability. Its just unfortunate that he will be the one to die first on every battle.

When and where you like to use this lineup
Lorkus is a 7 mana Archon, as much as possible Im only using it above 40 mana. Its not a 100% win for me but 50%-60% win rate at this mana cap is big advantage already. I am trying to mix up the cards from melee and magic damage. I am not a big fan of range unit but sometimes I also use it to squeeze on the team if needed. The ruleset and ability that I am careful are torn and magic reflect. I am adjusting base on the ruleset, mana cap, and elements available on every battle.

A battle link or replay to showcase it in action
All my preparations for this battle, thinking the opponent will use life element with tofu, but it turns out he used a combo of Dragon and Fire. But just as I predicted my Infernal Firestorm and Gramel the Hunger was left standing. Its not a dominating win, I was lucky because he used Kha'zi Conjurer. The burning spreads even at the later round. If not for that I am not sure if I can pull this win. Overall I was happy with the result. The battle link is below.
