🧙♂️My Complete Magic Damage Line Up Expunge A High Level Team🧙♂️

Greetings to all my fellow players around the world and to Splinterlands. How are you all doing Splinters? Hope you are all doing great.
This weeks Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge is all about Battlefield Breakdowns. Lots of us for sure have had an amazing battle where we were able to win in difficult match, its a good feeling right? Its an unexplainable, like its a sense of achievement although we just win one battle. I can relate to that, this is why the amazing Splinterlands had been here over the years.
While I am browsing on my Season Activity, I noticed this battle result and I thought to myself this is worth sharing. Most of us, battling everyday we kinda remember the name of player that we use to encounter, especially those who are really dominating the game. This battle that I will be sharing is with a very very good player in Splinterlands. No offense and I don't want to call him out so I apologise in advance if he reads this post. This is just for entertainment and educational purpsose only and nothing sort of to embarass a player.
✨The ruleset that defined the fight
![]() |
Melee Mayhem: All melee units can attack from any position. Theres a lot of Melee Unit with dual attack in modern format that can be taken advantage at this ruleset. Best to use unit with Shield Ability to minimise the damage recieve by 50%. Another is the Thorns Ability which returns two physical damage to Melee Attacker.
Briar Patch: All units have the Thorns. Now this is interesting because the first ruleset says all Melee can attack from any position, and its just so ironic that they will be damage as well by Thorns, and can be increase as well if amplify ability is use. Unless of course the player use the a summoner or unit with deflect ability.
59 Mana Cap: This large mana capacity helps the player to play around the unit which will be suited for this battle.
Life, Death and Neutral Element: Only three element available for this battle. No dual element in this battle, the only advantage the player will have here is by using the Bloodline of Razi Clanktrap or Bella Ratajowlski.
✨The team composition

As I was talking earlier about the Deflect Ability, my enemy used level 8 Reklah as his Archon which has Deflect on his Tactics Ability that will be granted to his two Melee, cancelling the Briar Patch. His units are as
follows.
- Nalara Geinek level 2 with Amplify and Silenced ability and added Thorns.
- Ujurak Brave level 10 with Immunity and Silenced ability, having two Silenced ability it means minus 2 magic damage already for my team, and of course and added Thorns.
- Mad Ogre Anarchist level 8 with Opportunity and Immunity Ability and added Thorns.
- Barashkukor level 1 with Fury ability and added Thorns.
- Arachne Weaver level 3 with Corrupted Healing and Scavenger Ability and added Thorns.
- Helheim Demon level 1 with Flying and Taunt Ability and added Thorns.
While on my Team, I picked Lorkus Level 1 for its Tactics ability of Lifeleech and Plus 1 Magic Damage. My line up are as follows.
- Thraga level 2 with Void and Pinforge ability.
- Mindless Thrall level 2 with Phase ability.
- Kelan Gaines level 1 with Snipe ability.
- Gravebrand Warlock level 2 with swiftness ability.
- Barashkukor level 1 with Fury ability.
- Warborn Shaman level 2 with Void Armor and Impede ability.
✨The strategy behind my lineup
My strategy is simple, for my Barashkukor and Warborn Shaman to accumulate Health by using the Life Leech ability. But since my enemy has two Silenced on his team it kinda derailed my aim for the two. But it pays off in the end and was able to eliminate his two units with Silenced and thereby restoring the powerful magic damage of team. Even if my Baraskukor was killed, Warborn Shaman had so much health already killing his last two unit. This is The key moment that turned the tide.
My enemy is clever to use Reklah and used two Melee without having the Thorns damage them. But I think it kinda slows them down to kill my unit because it will hit the armor first.
Magic damage with Life Leech is really hard to match, as you can see, even if the enemy is way above at level of cards the Legendary Archons and my Magic Damage team still comes out as victorious.
