My Actifit Report Card: May 25 2025

Ingredients
1 block firm or extra firm tofu,
4 Tbsp corn starch,
2 Tbsp Nutritional Yeast,
1 tsp Garlic Powder,
1 tsp Onion Powder,
2 Tbsp liquid aminos (to keep from sticking),

Directions
Mix corn starch, nutritional yeast, onion powder and garlic powder together in a bowl.,
Take tofu out of package and gently squeeze excess water out.,
Rip chunks of tofu off with your fingers to create nugget shapes.,
Toss nuggets in bowl of corn starch mix and coat all sides of the nuggets. Would recommend half the tofu block at a time.,
Heat pan up over medium heat. When warm throw tofu nuggets into the pan.,
After cooking for a few minutes (when tofu gets some color on the bottom ~5 minutes), drizzle evenly some liquid aminos on top of the nuggets and along the bottom of the pan.,
Cook 3-5 more minutes then flip.,
Cook for a few more minutes, drizzle some liquid aminos along the nuggets and pan.,
When nuggets are crispy on bottom, try the largest one to make sure it's the consistency you want/well cooked, and place nuggets on plate to cool.,
Repeat steps 3-9 for remaining half of tofu block.

Note: May need more time, may need more corn starch and liquid aminos. I just kind of eyeballed it to give an idea. Basically test the tofu as you cook it for dryness/flavor and adjust as needed. If it's wet/squishy, cook longer.
