Whats up @splinterlands and hive people! How are you there! It's your Boi Eustace-Kidd here to share my Splinterlands Fan-Art for this week, and for this week I draw the Spirit of the Forest, from Splinterlands Earth Unit. And below is the lore and the process.

First step is of course as always. I sketched first, I decided to make her like sitting on a tree or something like that.

After that I started to fill colors based on the original color of the card.

Skin and Branches	Hair and Dress

Then using "Eraser Tool" I erased all those overlapped colors,

On this part, I started to add some shading or shadows, from skin and dress. On her hair I tried to make it more like silky or wavy? how do you call that in english? HAHA.

Okey let's take a closer look,
I think I'm doing great.

On this stage I started to create the plan for my background, I put fine stone that would be her seat, and trees around.

I also made this a night scene, that will fit to the theme of our fan-art that I will explain later, I also added moon and stars to the picture and fog on the ground and some strange centipede plants that can only be found and live inside my head. HAHA. And after that we have our final result..

FINAL RESULT:

How can I explain this picture? Says in this card lore, "Spirit of the Forest is a loving Mother", and YES!
The meaning of this drawing depicts a mother alone and sad, she smiled slightly while remembering the happy memories with her children. Because in real life that's exactly what is happening right? When we are old enough and started to create a his or her own family, some of us choose to live separately from our parents. Meanwhile, others are still dependent on their parents. Those are the lazy ones!
My point here is, wherever our destiny takes us, let us never forget, the love our parents gave us when we were little , and even now that we are grown up. Let's always say hello Dad, say I love you Mom, and send them money to make them happier. HAHAHAHA. (kidding aside)
