Adapting to Inflation: Exploring Gas as an Alternative for Electricity Generation
Inflation has really exerted its impact on the economy of my country, it has affected our everyday life, promoting a lot of innovation in the heart of many new methods and new ideas are becoming tangible. In my country this has pushed me into seeking a relative method of generating electricity, this has led me into considering gas as a better alternative of generating electricity since the price of fuel is chi rocking as the day goes by.
The eye infection rate has significantly increased the cost of fuel hence causing a shortage in electricity supply. Putting a lot of houses in the budgeting of the next term of how to survive. Exploring an alternative way of generating energy has become an imperative management for me to cut down my expenses on fuel buying.
I did some analysis and the gas is a better alternative in this scenario it is cheaper compared to burning of fuel in a running generator.
For some days now my devices have been down due to the fact that there was no electricity supply in my area, we normally don't have a constant supply, see electricity once in a while and it's making life even more difficult as the price of fuel went up. The advantage of gas as my alternative for generating electricity is not only about the price but also a better way of cleaner combustion compared to fuel and this has helped to reduce the impact on my environment. So for me it's an appealing choice that has brought a balance to my financial and environment.
Although this option and thinking requires a lot of planning and putting my safety measures in place because we had a lot of old gas explosions due to negligence and carelessness so these options entails that I'll be more cautious and careful. To avoid disasters and stories that touch the heart.
As I make this choice towards changing my source of electricity supply, it is a result that change is constant, as humans we must adapt to the changes that may come as a result of economic decisions.
I'm assuming when you mention fuel and gas you are saying Fuel is Gasoline and Gas is natural or propane gas? In Canada gas means gasoline but I think far more likely to have explosions from Propane or natural gas that gets away from you.
Anyways I could be mistaken but either way I totally understand your desire to find a better alternative to getting your own electricity and not having to rely on an unreliable electrical grid.
Personally I really like the idea of solar power but at best its around for half the day.
As a backup I really wish that woodgas generators were more readily available :(
Did you know that you can run an LPG or Natural Gas generator on smoke from a woodfire :) Youtube it sometimes, it takes a lot of practice and getting the smoke/air mix just right but still imagine being able to grow your own wood and make your own electricity from it :)
Option #2 of course is BioGas. Rotting leaves, cow manure and other decomposing things make methane with waste CO2 and so on. With a little work it can be used to run a generator. Again, Imagine if your yard and farm waste could provide your electricty. Ahh...so nice to dream.
In your case, I'm glad you have found something that works. If you ever want to get a little "mad scientist" or try something new in you there are other cool options out there :)
Thanks for writing
This alternative is widely used by people lately.
The country is in a mess.
Even gas now is expensive but still better to use it to run a generator.
My dear we just have to adapt. Thanks for stopping by
That's it
You are welcome dear
