Hello, summoners. I'm sure none of you have missed the new campaign mode and the cards from the Foundations set.
I believe these cards complete our spellbook, replacing the Started Cards, and that they will be ours to keep, even though they work differently or, for example, do not contribute to our Collection Power.
Hola, invocadores. Seguro que a ninguno de vosotros se os ha pasado el nuevo modo campaña y las cartas del set Foundations.
Creo que estas cartas vienen a completar nuestro libro de hechizos, reemplazando a las Started Cards, y que serán de nuestra propiedad, aunque funcionen de forma distinta o, por ejemplo, no contribuyan a nuestro Collection Power.
Although most of the time I may sound like a grumpy old man, this time I'm really excited about this new toy. There are cards that, for me, have nods to geek culture, but that's another story.
So I set myself a new challenge: to prove that it could be done with just these starter cards.
The battle I am about to share is part of this little adventure, with drops in the ratings, curious confrontations, and very funny moments. Because, although we like to win, we cannot always do so, but to solve this, colleagues, that is where the magic comes in.

La batalla que voy a compartir forma parte de esta pequeña aventura, con bajadas en el rating, enfrentamientos curiosos y momentos muy divertidos. Porque, aunque nos guste ganar, no siempre podemos hacerlo, pero para solucionar esto compañeros es donde entra la magia.

Furthermore, you could rightly tell me that the old, bearded wizard was much cheaper and could do the same thing. In my defence, I will say that nostalgia doesn't win in the modern world, but now, for a little more, with the siren we can pull some old tricks out of our sleeves again.

COMMANDER SLADE deserves a chapter all to himself. Just looking at the illustration, it seems like the card is shouting in your face: ‘I'm a tank!’ But then there are his Dodge and Enfeeble abilities, which from his earliest levels make him a nightmare for your opponent.
Although he's in third place here and does nothing more than serve as a giant piece of meat to cover our mages in case of need, because there are still moments when I doubt the legendary resilience of ULUNDIN OVERSEER.

Thanalorian Scion, this elf is another example of my constant obsession with defence. Even though she only has one health point, this can be an advantage, as it will attract all of the opponent's opportunistic attacks.
Thanks to her Void Armour ability, she will tank all damage with her incredible 10 armour, so in this case, her health would serve to distract the opponent while buying us some time.

Water-logged wizard is another card from the Foundations Set and one of the new water element units.
As I mentioned at the beginning, I wanted to see the potential of this new base collection, so I couldn't leave it behind.
Furthermore, it fulfils all the requirements for a unit in this strategy: being a mage or having a magical attack. This allows you to take full advantage of MARLAI SINGARIEL's power-ups.

This orc shaman now deserves much more of my attention, because in addition to slowing down the pace, he had everything I was looking for; he could have been the dream signing for my team.

Todo suma mucho más ahora que estamos en un reinicio para los que solo jugamos en Modern.
Puede que ahora mismo sean solo cartas de madera o bronce, como dice el amigo @bulkathos , pero han venido en el momento justo, cuando la gente necesitaba arcontes jugables para sus mazos y estaba decidiendo qué mazo o estrategia quería utilizar.
The newly introduced campaign mode is very helpful for new players to learn about the game and also earn some cards to start playing the game. I liked the mermaid and it does remind me of Alric the water summoner from beta.
... and teach the not-so-new players a thing or two.
I think the campaign mode is a great success. It makes me imagine that a PVE mode with a story within the game is possible, where you can play the decisive battles within the lore in chapters or simply hunt bears or wild boars. But I'm probably just daydreaming.😅
