This piece is about Yogen no Nayuta, a one-shot by Tatsuki Fujimoto (the creator of Chainsaw Man). I’m really loving his work lately! The story felt like a bittersweet and deeply human experience, perfectly capturing the loneliness of being "different" and the fierce desire to protect the ones we love. 🖤 I loved how it shows that the bond between siblings can overcome any fear, even a prophecy about the end of the world. It teaches us that being understood by someone gives life true meaning, no matter what others think. 🛡️✨
Lineart: Empecé con un trazo limpio y definido para el personaje. No usé mi estilo personal de siempre porque en el celular se sentía algo agobiante, ¡pero al final quedó espectacular! ✨
Lineart: I started with clean lines to define the character. I didn't use my usual personal style this time because it felt a bit overwhelming on the phone screen, but I think it turned out spectacular! ✨
Color: Seguí con la piel, el pelo y los ojos (¡esos ojos de Nayuta siempre llaman la atención!). Como saben, suelo usar paletas de colores de mis dibujos anteriores; sé que debo variar más, pero es parte de mi proceso mientras sigo desarrollando mi propio estilo. 🌈👁️
Coloring: Then I moved on to the skin, hair, and eyes (Nayuta’s eyes are always so striking!). As many of you know, I tend to reuse color palettes from my previous drawings; I know I need to diversify more, but I'm working on it as I grow as an artist! 🌈👁️
Detalles finales: Para el fondo, elegí un atardecer con luces que representan el espíritu del 24 de diciembre, ¡ya que casi se termina el año! Puse luces llamativas para que Nayuta resaltara al máximo y se viera súper genial. 🌅🎄
Final Details: For the background, I chose a sunset with lights inspired by December 24th vibes since the year is almost over! I added some bright lights to make Nayuta pop. 🌅🎄
